  1. Half the class is bummed out...

Well I stand corrected. I actually thought it was a grade-school classroom...
  2. Half the class is bummed out...

It probably is stretch of a comparison, but depending upon what they're actually being used for I might not be too far off.
  3. Half the class is bummed out...

I wonder what power-user programs these kids are learning that require such nice computers. Don't get me wrong - I think It's great they are using nice stuff, but it would be like buying new BMW's for driver's ed.
  4. T-shirt help

Other than the printer being in-capable, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever that your image cannot be screen printed with great results. There is NOTHING "wrong" with that art. Period. Is it more difficult than some other art? Sure, but that's why it should be printed by someone who knows...
  5. T-shirt help

That is a 4cp job. If it were something that could be printed in only spot colors and their pre-press can't do it, it's because they don't know how.
  6. To Protect the Innocent...............

I think things are slow and Gino designed it as a joke.
  7. Oce Arizona 360

Great machine. It's only been about 4 months, but it does what it's supposed to. I've had zero problems. Great quality & adhesion.
  8. Confused About Color Management

Always an interesting topic. I work in cmyk to hit G7 standards. I have to match lithograph printing digitally. RGB has the "pop" gamut, but cmyk delivers proper tonal values.
  9. Huh... What would you suggest?

Thank you for the responses very much.
  10. Huh... What would you suggest?

About two years ago I started a brochure for print design project with a client company. It was re-creation/redesign project because they no longer had the file work to take it to press. That was quite believable because it looked dated. I met with them and things went well. I was paid for half...
  11. How do you handle customers who approach you about services?

I've found a lot of people simply like meetings. It makes them feel like an important business person who needs to direct you in a meeting. If the work can be done without one it should be. A nice way to prevent needless meetings is to offer your method of getting things done as being how you do...
  12. Corndog anyone?

They're really good with onion & mustard relish.
  13. The Royal Wedding

I heard the soundtrack will be for sale by noon on i-Tunes. I really can't wait. This is the best Friday ever! It will be available in May on disc. I already ordered my copies. I will have a valuable piece of history. I intend to open one, and keep several others unopened to pass down through...
  14. The Royal Wedding

You bet your ass I did. I haven't really slept in days. Weddings are stressful. I'm so glad it's over. It's not easy to be part of something that has absolutely nothing to do with one's self. It takes an exhausting mental demeanor.
  15. Critique my Card - Final Round

Triangles, swoosh, underline & a dot. I don't see any relevancy/purpose in the triangles. Refine one of the other elements. I like the others a lot.
  16. Ink Bag "Not Present"

I recently printed two sheets out of a fresh bag (yellow), and then it said there was no ink bag. I had another one on hand, and they replaced the other. Could have been a real problem, but luckily it worked out fine.
  17. Not Really signwork

    :thumb: VERY nice!
  18. Time Flies....

Head over to Estes Park! Lots of great places to stay. I got engaged there on Eagle Cliff Mountain. That Colorado Springs idea is great!
  19. New Site Design. Need Feed Back!!

I like it. The logo in the upper left seems lost, though.
