Tech, I have been looking at the EDDM routes around my area as well, and compiling my mail pieces to use for that.
When someone cold calls, I usually try to be courteous at first and give them about 5-10 seconds of my time. If in that amount of time they don't ask me if they caught me at a good...
Some fairly simple changes might help a ton. I think the orange that surrounds the text should follow more of the proper perspective angles from the center of the "splat" and not be straight or boxie looking but more like fat splashes coming from the center point of the main splash. As it is...
Also seems like this would make it a real pain to remove a wrap with all that adhesive left behind.
Is this common for that material? I've been wanting to try it but the thought of possibly ruining a huge print (such as printing/installing a car wrap in one piece per side) makes me reluctant...

I believe this is the part of your original post that may have made people think (myself included) that you already had the job, even though in the beginning you did mention you were asked to do a quote.
Regardless, there were some very good points made by several that you should take to heart...
Here is an air-powered version for considerably less. It works great as long as you have a GOOD air compressor. Only drawback is that you can't just plug it in to an outlet anywhere and go.
But it's a good tool and about 150 bucks less. I believe the wheels interchange with the MBX too...
