    I've encountered this glitch when outlining strokes in Illustrator as well. You may not be able to separate the two paths created when converting a stroke to an outline because they are actually connected. Sometimes, you can delete the offending nodes and separate the paths.

    Wrong. Because you are not able to achieve such a fade, don't assume it can't be done. Anyways, the OP seems satisfied with the initial print. It's the laminate that is causing the color shift. No?

    I agree with Fred. I also inline the vector mask slightly to completely avoid any pixelated edges showing on the resulting masked text.

    I buy cleaning solution by the litre from the ink manufacturer I use. I have a friend who swears by 3M-CGS-80. But I haven't used it.

    Regarding the Soccer Taco....there is a Mexican restaurant/Sports bar near me called Soccer Taco. And it is awesome. Everything you would want from a sports bar, plus good Mexican food. I don't feel too bad pirating this thread, as this topic has been beat to death on this forum. :thread

    Thank you, Bobby. After further research, I'm leaning towards the Oracal 3621 which is basically half price of the 3691. Anyone using either of these products? I read another post that said that the 3621 has a pretty aggresive adhesive. I need a product that is relatively low-tack.

    Has anyone used this? I am looking to replace the current removable-adhesive vinyl we use. We will be mostly printing short-term decals on this--bumper stickers, etc. But I would also like to use it for paint mask vinyl. Any pros/cons?
