Double check your PF adjust for the particular substrate @ 500.

"Prototype" makes me think of a draft, and "66" makes me think of a sign. This popped in my mind. It's by no means a good design as is, but gives some merit to the name itself.

You may also move them to the new computer by first zipping the folder they're in before transferring. This can also help prevent problems with all kinds of transfers.

I used to use Wasatch, but I didn't really care for it. From what I remember, it was Wasatch 6, and it gave me a lot of "surprises". I use Onyx now, and although it has a few quirks, it does a nice job. No surprises, and the layout feature and quick-sets I don't think I could live without...

I've cheated a couple times. Sound like a few here will have my head for admitting using plotters & vinyl to make the masks for hand-painting jobs that the customer wanted "Perfect like vinyl, but painted".

It actually SHOULD make a click noise when going over the black carriage spring coming from the left (from center of printer if you're standing in front of it), and have to be pushed down with your finger to bring it back out from the capping station. Bend that bracket, & or pivot that black nip...

As flat as possible. Look into any local companies that are getting rid of layout tables (steel or otherwise). That may be overkill, but would be perfect if you can get them on the cheap.

Sounds like the substrate you're using is too thin if the clamp is letting go. I haven't had any jam up. I must be lucky, because I usually use a cheap one (not THE cheapest, but not expensive). I've heard not to use the "Sirius" ones, perhaps that's what you've been using?
