I've done a couple hundred, and have had zero complaints over the last couple years. I'm using an "economy" stand - nothing special. What is happening with them?

I don't know the name of it, but the bracket with the black thing on a spring can end up bent or move out of position enough to cause that error. Make sure it is straight up and down, or at least "look" right.

I'd recommend having a tech replace it. If you have A LOT of downtime you could give it a shot, and have it serviced if you can't get it quite right, but you're better off paying and getting back to running quality prints.

The PF motor is VERY simple. Remove the back cover opposite the head station and take a look. You'll have no problem at all. I'd replace the whole pump station. It isn't difficult. I did mine in 20 minutes with no direction - it's a bunch of screws. Remove the back cover to get at the wire...

"Gerber Security Label Stock" is the one for the EDGE that leaves the word "Void". I know Advantage carries it.

I have success with the 1604. I use General Formulations cling. It's sort of moddled looking, but only upon close inspection. If your overall color is good, I'd start by reducing the ink limit in the profile by 25% and see what happens. Eleven Ten had some great cling, but I don't know where to...

I almost miss it. SLA "printers" have been around a long time. They're faster now, though. I worked with one back about 13yrs ago when I was a wood pattern & mold maker, also.

Is it possible to cut on this machine without printing the bounding box? I need to cut material that has no print, and I can not print on it, anyway. :thankyou:

Wrong use of apostrophes; Open Monday's is the worst sort. There are an endless variety of them that really irritate me. If you don't understand how to use them simply don't.

I haven't had any problems with letting it run until it stops. This typically happens with overnight unattended runs. Even if it sat most of the night crying for ink, it picks up where it left off in the print.

I've tried a lot of sheet stocks. No luck.

I think you should beat up the employee in front of the customer. He'll pay full price for sure.

I just replaced mine. Really, it's just a bunch of screws. I removed the lower portion of the cover (lip that holds the swing cover), and the lower portion on the back of the machine (so I could get at the wire plug). That's about it.

Call me stupid, but I haven't seen this before. What does 20M mean for quantity?
