Why not just cut a paint mask, and do it with a matt paint, they make plenty of great materials that bond well with ceramic work. just wet dry sand them to give a surface for it to grab at, throw down your paint mask, paint and then you can take the whole thing and clear coat with a matt clear.
what you would probably want to look into is a sacrificial coating. Anything permanent really is designed only for spray paint only but if they use other graffiti methods ... mop sticks for example, which is latex paint in a half filled shoe polish container ... it will stick and not want to...
I just re-read this ... and noticed an interesting line ...
What the **** does having your own mac have anything to do with getting a designer position? I would expect being mac knowledgable to be required in an all mac enviroment ... but it's 3 or 4 different button combos. Please don't tell...
I see lots of shops that have multiple platforms in their shops. One I did some freelancing for had all their designers on macs, the sales people on pcs one generation old and all the rest (for printing, cutting, and all production work) were all on cutting edge pcs that made me drool ..

Wow rick, I know a few shops that would LOVE a sales person that could bring in 500k in sales ... sadly I've never seen a small to medium sign, marketing or graphics shop have a sales person come in and do that much unless they pulled their old customers over from a shop that was closing its...
Funny thing ... I just designed a logo for a couple of hipster girls that were starting a soap company ... almost exactly like that.
So true of an example.
'pirates' used sloops and schooners. just find a stock photo of one with a dark colored sail, make it 'black' and add a skull to a black flag and you are done.
yup, there are 3 or 4 in this area that got their own solvent printers and are pumping out full wraps installed for under a grand. want the print, but not he install? $500. completely unlaminated with the grainiest ****ty clipart graphics you've ever seen.
I ******* hate drag racers ... they bring their p.o.s. 93 civic with a kit body to make it look like a poor mans lotus into the shop and want you do do a full wrap for less than a grand installed because their buddy at the strip will do it for that much but is 'too busy' to do it in the next...
While I love silicone, I've actually been looking for an alternative since some signage is going to be temporary and once you cut free the silicone attached sign, it almost always leaves a layer that takes forever for some maint. guy to sand off an interior hang space before painting.
I've...
I normally allocate about 15 - 30 minutes per job as layout/design for free. If a job is going to be a massive re-design or re-create from crappy art, nominal art fee since I can do that in about an hour or two. Logos and illustrations are different, especially with revisions but is pretty...
In theory I like cloud based software ... In reality, I hate the concept actualized so far. I get it, people steal your over priced software so create a way to prevent the theft ... how you are losing money as a whole ... I just don't get it really. Maybe if they actually did something to...
