Well the actual downloaded software from corel is the 'trial' software that you can input a serial into and it unlocks so as long as he can input a legit serial its never a problem. That being said ... here is the link to the direct download straight from corel ...

just test them on what they would do on the job. Hand them a substrate, a job sheet and a ruler and set them down at the computer, if they can properly measure the substrate, lay out the job based on what the customer wants and makes it look half way decent and can do it fast and effectively...

Not rumor, they confirmed that the used game charge is the complete cost of the game. You can 'share' with everyone on the same console but that is it. If you loan it to a friend ... they need to buy the game as well, or you need to be there signed in with your account to get the game to work...

This is a standard thing. When I have hired people in the past, I generally hired for the inexperienced since it's easier to find hungry graphic designers than experienced sign guys with no bad habits ... still had to re-train the experienced half the time and the bad habits are hard to break...

You'll need more than some quick reference and a plotter. Solid design skills, a business plan, accounting ability, and good old fashion marketing know how are what you need as well. Start with that, then move to your sign business.
