I rarely do printing, so I don't have this problem. I realize a typo in a 10-page booklet is different than for a sign. But, on signs or simple printed products like business cards or postcards:

What version of flexi? If you have 8.x, or higher you can play with the Color Settings under the Edit tab, then use Soft Proof from the View menu to see what your print should look like.
I agree with the others. I like the layout, but you might play with the colors some. Also would like the tree trunk a little bigger so it would cover up the border. Other than that, I like it.
I frequent several message boards per day. This is by far the most-informative, most-helpful and least-hateful one. Like it or not, you have to have a little bit of a thick skin to post on the internet these days. That's just the way it is and it isn't going to change.

You say they do mostly wood fences? Unless they specialize in elaborate, ornamental iron fencing, I'd stay away from the fancy fonts. I think you need to pick something that is strong, bold and easy-to-read.
