You need to match the colors to the RV vinyl outdoors under the sunlight.
You're probably seeing some degree of metamarism in the printed gold that's having it go a little green outdoors. I know the ES3 inks have problems with it to some degree, but nothing that can't be corrected with a...
The number of interfaces they'd need to implement for different printers. Many of which are closed systems that require significant reverse engineering.
Why would Adobe get into the rip game? They wrote postscript and get a royalty from every RIP sold that uses it. It's the core functionality...

This is probably the reason why the original poster is upset. One would expect a wholesale trade provider to have enough volume that they can gang up enough jobs together to minimize waste.
Then again the original poster never mentioned the job size or anything specific about it.
Personally...
You mean the combination of RGB primaries using additive colour?
Like say in a projector (monitors and TV don't use real additive color) or a Lightjet printer that uses RGB lasers to image photographic medias?
Or are you being a smarty pants?
The easiest way to accomplish this would be to open the vector file in photoshop as an RGB file. The spot LAB data will convert to RGB during the rasterization process.
Some of my clients do. I just open the files and create a PDF or tiff from them.
Shoot over the years I've worked with pretty much every kind of file and for the most part these applications all tend to work pretty similar. Publisher (like anything M$) is a bitch though.
If you're in the...
That rat rod look is in and could look killer as well as garner a lot of "good"
attention, despite what some here may tell you.
If you can spruce up an old vehicle with a set of wheels, a few cans of rattle-can black and some really nicely done pinstriping you'll have a unique vehicle that...
Try a higher print resolution and you'll see burgundy where before it was brown.
Deep reds require laying down a lot of ink to get decent saturation. Add black to an unsaturated red and you get brown. Add black to a deeply saturated red and you get burgundy.
You may need to flatten out the input and output paths of the media if you're laminating with 12 mil. Use a 60˚ blade, slow it down and use higher pressure on the cutter.
The thickness of the laminate required me to do this with my Summa cutter. No problems cutting through the media, but it...
Every service technician thats ever touched one of my machines has done it while the machine has been unplugged.
Every time I service my machines they are unplugged.
I've had to replace a couple of motherboards over the years. For the sole reason that I forgot to unplug the machine from the...
It really depends on what was contained with on the file you sent as a test. If the pantone swatches were left as spot colors then all the files will reference the spot color LAB data in the RIP and convert them identically as you were using the same input data (LAB) and the same output profile...
I'm looking for a good trade printer that can handle some offset catalog work in the western US/California.
Anybody but 4 over. High quality and the ability to produce custom work such as spot UV and perfect binding is required.
Who might you guys recommend?
Go down to your local hydroponics store and buy yourself an activated carbon filter and an inline duct fan.
For about $500 you should be able to remove fumes from a reasonably sized room. The filters are replaceable and last about 12-18 months. So when it wears out you just replace the filter.
