Depends on what the bulk of your work is and the kind of equipment you have.
As far as location, I've found that a minimal investment in advertising can easily overcome a bad location as long as it's only a little tough to find and not tough to get to.
The combination of advertising and a good...

I kid, I too have a high tolerance for pain killers. I had a doctor refuse to give me the prescribed dose one time for an endoscopy and felt every twist and turn of the camera wire. It was so bad that I started dry heaving on the OR table and while the doctor was screaming at me to...
Does the software work with multiple size reg marks?
If so are you using the correct size marks on your artwork?
I ran into the same deal with my summa cutter/JV33/wasatch RIP combo. I had the right marks, but the wrong setting in the rip to recognize my size marks as the cutter could...
Given that it's doing it across all medias and profiles I would have to say that you're definitely dealing with a starvation issue. New dampers and/or pump should bring it back. 2 Years is a pretty long time for a set of dampers. The internal filters on the dampers may be partially clogged. Best...
Is your media fully up to temp when you're running the media comp? I've found that when I let the media come fully up to temp and reclamp it before I run the media comp test that I get more accurate results and less differential between the two ends.
If your wiper isn't nicked there's no need to replace it.
Mine is two years old and works just fine. As long as you keep everything clean and well maintained, the service intervals can be extended quite a bit.
Sounds to me like a networking issue, or perhaps a hard drive going off. Something is slowing down the data feed between the rip and printer.
Of course since it's a windows box you should check it out for a virus and malware as well.
I've spent 25 years putting ink on stuff. All sorts of stuff. That's my specialty.
I learned a craft that included darkroom photography, manual lithography, etc. Most of which is now a forgotten dark art practiced by few. I've been a technological pioneer when we were the first trade shop in...
All printers will "wander" over time. The only way to keep two printers consistently printing the same color is by using a device link profile. Although keeping the existing profiles regularly linearized will help maintain consistency.
Time periods between maintenance repairs can be tricky to...
I saw a post here about some aftermarket blades for summa cutters that everybody was raving over, but alas now that I need it it's gone and I can't remember the name of the company.
Any suggestions?

The article on the British repatriation was touching. Look up "Highway of Heroes" on youtube to see what Canada does...
This seems kind of timely for a thread like this. It's been running quite a bit in my local area and every time it airs I've thought of this thread.

That welder will not do hems. It's only for joining two pieces into one larger piece.
There's no cheap solution for doing hems. Although sewing is cheaper than heat welding.
I doubt you'll find either machine for your budget for both.
OK This isn't technically a sign, and they are students but it was simply too good to share. This is a file they sent me by mistake. The file I printed looked much better.
I should have known what was coming when they asked if I could print a MS publisher file.
Great set-up. I had two of us larger guys working one platform on a hoarding wrap. We were climbing all over that thing like monkeys and it was rock solid.
The guy I had helping me was a ladders and plank guy before. He came away impressed with my little budget scaffold set.
Plus as mentioned...
