Draw a line through the center of one and scan each half and join back together in your program. Should fit a normal scanner then. They're both the same so you only need to do one. Draw an inch square for you to scale in your program, vetorise first then rescale to the inch square.

Exactly the way I do it........select both objects then go Arrange > Shaping > Back minus front. Your using the trim function which will cut out the shape but leaves it in place.

I have done similar, only I used mask because its easier to get off. If it's not too big, just stick it to something flat and scan or if it's large, take a photo and resize in your design program. Cheers Gary
