I would also think the A/C vents could blow dust or debris on the media and cause less than desired printing results.
Redirect the vents so they do not blow directly onto the printer and should be fine.
Use the Preferences Manager to set the prefs back to Default.
Then reboot, restart Flexi only. Create a test print/cut job and click RIP/PRINT icon.
Should prompt you to setup the devices and move forward
I think 7 mil is the thickest I have used personally...
60 degree blade with CB15u blade holder and tangential cutting mode ON. Set to high pressure (test of course).
Should be covered - have the tech use the term, 'Permanently deflected nozzles'.
Might need to find out how many dots have been fired... if the number exceeds the recommended life of the head, you may have to pay. Warranty covers defective issues, not end of life issues.

The Q Series is made by Graphtec as an OEM Cutter. BUT stick Graphtec mainboars will not work and Graphtec will not support it.
If you have the Graphtec cutter, you should have the software. No need to buy any more unless you prefer to use one software package as your solution. Flexi Pro
Locate the guidewire that pulls the print heads left and right.... then look behind it (slightly higher). Clear or smokey gray color plastic strip that stands on edge.
Try cleaning your Encoder Scale/Strip. HINT: Do not use solvent cleaning fluid to do so - use rubbing alcohol and cleaning swab. Place the damp swab on the front of the strip near the print carriage and clean in one stroke to the far left of the strip. Repeat on the backside of the strip.
I would recommend the entire bottom roller... The kit requires an air compressor to float the foam roller onto the bar you have now... tough to get this on accurately without stretching or compressing it, therefore causing the level of the roller to be inconsistent.
Print the entire chart on your media and circle each one you want to offer the client... then in Flexi, create a new 'New Table' from the color chart area... Then you can select the Roland color from the Roland List and 'Drag and Drop' that color into your new Table... Be sure to save the new...
