  1. Air-Conditioning?

+1 Coloradosigns. I would also think the A/C vents could blow dust or debris on the media and cause less than desired printing results. Redirect the vents so they do not blow directly onto the printer and should be fine.
  2. Versacamm Issue

Head shot count can be obtained from the System report on some units or the Service Mode Reports.
  3. Roland GX-500 won't communicate with Flexi

Use the Preferences Manager to set the prefs back to Default. Then reboot, restart Flexi only. Create a test print/cut job and click RIP/PRINT icon. Should prompt you to setup the devices and move forward
  4. OEM replacement cart.

We offer the Solaris and STS inks for Mimaki. Let me know if you would like references and pricing.
  5. flexi request different font

I am not 100% sure but some older versions of Flexi would not display the name of the missing font. Could be wrong.
  6. XC-540... Time for a new head??

Glad to hear all is good.
  7. Will FC5100-75 cut 10mil mylar material?

I think 7 mil is the thickest I have used personally... 60 degree blade with CB15u blade holder and tangential cutting mode ON. Set to high pressure (test of course).
  8. Graphtec ce3000-60 MK2 windows 7 issues

Change the MODE on your cutter.... If it is set to HPGL, change to GPGL. If it is set to GPGL, set to HPGL.
  9. XC-540... Time for a new head??

Should be covered - have the tech use the term, 'Permanently deflected nozzles'. Might need to find out how many dots have been fired... if the number exceeds the recommended life of the head, you may have to pay. Warranty covers defective issues, not end of life issues.
  10. Q100 (fc7000 I think)

Hope it work out. The only other option might be to contact A MM here that does board repair.
  11. Q100 (fc7000 I think)

your only service option is to call SignWarehouse. Call and see if Jerry Barrax can help. Good guy. The Q Series is made by Graphtec as an OEM Cutter. BUT stick Graphtec mainboars will not work and Graphtec will not support it.
  12. Looking for service tech in Virginia

    +1 Glen Robb
  13. Contour cutting VP-540 prints with a Graphtech Plotter/Cutter

If you have the Graphtec cutter, you should have the software. No need to buy any more unless you prefer to use one software package as your solution. Flexi Pro
  14. SP300 Versa camm

    Check the BI-DI test prints.
  15. SP300 Versa camm

Locate the guidewire that pulls the print heads left and right.... then look behind it (slightly higher). Clear or smokey gray color plastic strip that stands on edge.
  16. SP300 Versa camm

Try cleaning your Encoder Scale/Strip. HINT: Do not use solvent cleaning fluid to do so - use rubbing alcohol and cleaning swab. Place the damp swab on the front of the strip near the print carriage and clean in one stroke to the far left of the strip. Repeat on the backside of the strip.
  17. Daige Quickmount Parts??

I would recommend the entire bottom roller... The kit requires an air compressor to float the foam roller onto the bar you have now... tough to get this on accurately without stretching or compressing it, therefore causing the level of the roller to be inconsistent.
  18. Daige Quickmount Parts??

Call Ike Harris at Daige... Only one I know that would have the part in hand (possibly) Phone: (800) 645-3323
  19. New to using Roland spot colors and need help.

Print the entire chart on your media and circle each one you want to offer the client... then in Flexi, create a new 'New Table' from the color chart area... Then you can select the Roland color from the Roland List and 'Drag and Drop' that color into your new Table... Be sure to save the new...
