  2. Changeable Advertisement Suggestions

Careful using thin pvc or styrene with any dark backgrounds. If the sign is exposed to direct sunlight, the heat can and will warp on you. you would be better off with aluminum or ACP as your substrate.
  3. Dear PEPSI...I hate you!

The quality of a sign used in any business is often a tell tale indicator of said business' potential for success or failure. It's a good indicator of their business judgement!

Yes yes, I'm liking this one way more much.
  6. HDU adhesive ?

PL Construction adhesive is what I use a lot of. It doesn't expand as much as monkey glue. I wouldn't use VHB because HDU is porous and it wont make good enough contact unless you want to also come through the back with screws. That's for insurance.

Gene the mountain is a direct UV print on 1/2" PVC, contour cut and then we painted the edges to match the green.
  16. Falsely accused of copying design

Okay, I'll step in your shoes and admit that the photo does look like a forgery of your drawing. It's amazing what you can do in photoshop.
  17. Falsely accused of copying design

Perhaps that is true in Auckland, but not here in the U.S. Copyright infringement is considered even if there is a resemblance. If you artwork is a derivative of the original and can be recognized as such, you are in violation. The old 10% change rule is a myth. Sometimes asking for permission...
  18. Very simple logo done dimensional

Thanks everyone... It was really easy to produce as well. I'd like to knock out six of them at once :) ChaChing.
  19. Falsely accused of copying design

That's definitely more than similar. No way the drawing did not come from the photo. Other than being harassed, I'd move on and get a poodle.
  20. Very simple logo done dimensional

Sand it just like any other material. CNC is good but not perfect. That's where the human touch makes the difference. It's all in the details.
