I can't help but notice that around election time, most all politicians use red white and blue on there campaign signs. Doesn't seem to bother them very much. So any logo with those colors would be conveying some form of patriotism.

I agree that lettering sitting on top will be too busy and distracting. Many other ways to get patriotism across.

I talk customers out of mags and sell them on direct lettering. I tell them I'll make them if they are dead set on them, but will not warrantee them at all. In fact I tell them that if they are not maintained religiously, they will destroy the paint on their vehicle. That usually gets the point...

It's meant to stimulate conversation regarding the various relationships mankind has with animals throughout society. Some of the categtories are animals that are feared, worshiped, tolerated, accepted, valued, endangered, despised, exploited, etc... Just another day in the life of my crazy world.

I often get called on for some rather unusual projects. I was contacted by an artist who had an idea for a sculpture she is working on for an exhibit. I met with her and she showed me a drawing for a piece that is meant to be interactive. She wanted a free spinning wheel like a wheel of fortune...

I print wood grain all the time on slat wall and luan doors on our flatbed. Looks great when done.

Oh my, I disagree. I think that it needs "more" lions, tigers and bears. Toss in a ladder with all three climbing it to the top to devour the wicked witch and you have a home run.

To me any time you mention the word "cheap", I immediately see unforeseen problems down the road. I like my work to stay out of the shop for as long as possible.

But if I change it by making it 10% smaller doesn't' that get around any copyright laws? That's what I've always been told..

Thank goodness I found this thread and for the heads up. I was just about to order five new routers from them for our manufacturing facility. One of our purchasing agents doing the research thought that they had a good machine. Oh well :)
