I am guessing you are referring to a Graphtec CE series......A very good cutter for the money. He won't go wrong with that cutter. Your work flow will be better with a printer and a cutter rather a print/cut in one machine.

I bought Corel ver1, 3, 7. 10 and X3 and never looked back. It has always done what I need it to do. It's a deal for the price.

I see you have CorelDraw 9 w/ Signtools 3 Plugin...have you tried that until you get Lexi loaded?

There is a wedge in the front for tilt. It's been awhile but I am almost sure you can move it forward and back.

And/or do a head flush and refill if the printer has been sitting with ink in the lines and not printing.

You can get it close by adjusting the print head in the holder. It sets with 2 screws I believe. This is to adjust the tilt and forward and back. It takes time. Adjust and nozzle check.....until it is close. Or contact MacDaddy as Sign-Man said.

I use Oracle 5600. I use a gloss profile like 3651 or 203 gloss from General Formulation. It prints great.

Yep, I got one and it is helpful. You have to read between the lines since there is information "lost in translation". The print head is not difficult to replace. Take your time and you'll do ok. Remember to record the ID# written in the data cable to enter in the printer. Alignment just takes...

Graphtec CE5000 is a good cutter for the money. It will come with a cutting program for Illustrator and Corel. It is very basic cutting program and you will want more but to start you can design in Illustrator and cut with the bridge Graphtec includes.

Soaking the heads with a lint free cloth is the way to go. I use a "microfiber" cloth, cut to cover the cap station and use a syringe to apply cleaning solution. Let is set 10 minutes or so then remove the cloth and do a normal cleaning. Do a nozzle check or a "test print" to check print quality.
