I used to manually pour the subtank,when all else fail, its the last resort, its a totally mess but it worked for me, you just need to have the bladder filled until the senser senses the stainless holder.
did you say you replace new printhead and maintenance unit? when yo perform cleaning is there ink running in the tube waste? if there is none? you probably have air leak on the capping, make sure the head is seating tightly and firm to the captop
use your old tubes connect it to the new ones using a polyurethane tube with a large diameter that will hold both tubes its a silicone tubes you can put a larger tube inside them
how did you know that it sits fine in the carriage, you must see the ink flowing in the maintenance pump to conclude that you have a perfect seal of head over capping station, and please put a new set of dampers on a new printhead, damper is cheaper rather than a new head.
definitely something is interfering with the y axis, check behind the platen or the capping station turn off printer and manually drag your carriage to feel it, i have encounter that error before and found out that it was caused by faulty old cr ffc long cable, fyi old printers need to be...
the firmware is not the problem the ink seucrity of you vj has run out and you need to recode the system to be able to run in third party inks unless you use oem ink by mutoh. you have private message
is the maintenance station new? sometimes a small cut or crack on rubber the lip of the captop is not visible you have to look for it in closer view, it cause a vacuum leak
