  1. 10 Tundras ...2 days...1 guy!

It's the one-guy part that is most impressive. You must have some great techniques -- and be quite sore at the end of the day. Great job.
  2. istockphoto hint

Me neither -- great idea though.
  3. Sometimes you just shake your head and laugh...

What a joke... an all too familiar type of scene around these parts also.
  4. Did I mention I'm going full-time?

    Good luck Ken --
  5. Surveillance Sign <O><O>

I'd have the camera on the other side so it's looking into the sign rather than drawing your eye off the sign.
  6. We'll its official

All the best -- I hope for a speedy replacement and recovery!
  7. Can someone fill me in on this flu shot deal?

Once again proving your great value to this site. Smartass answers to serious questions are a waste. Vaccines can be deadly in rare cases (just look at the 1970's swine flu vaccine) so you have to weigh the risks, especially when you are talking about your own children. I never get the flu and...
  8. How To... Need Ideas

We've used a sign hanging system before that has 2 parts -- One side mounts to the wall and the other side slips right into the top of the wall mount piece. It's only about 1/4" thick and it's held in place by gravity so it's easy to change. We usually pop rivet the panel so we don't have a...
  9. my Sign Planning Guide, from "TheSignExpert.Com"

I looked through it very quickly just now and I think it makes a great first impression from a customer point of view. I too have been planning on putting together a piece that includes budget ranges. I think this helps set the proper tone for the initial prospect conversation by establishing...
  10. Content aware photo stretching

Actually it did pretty well with a closeup of coffee beans -- I'll take a look at Xara 5.
  11. Content aware photo stretching

It would work great with landscape backgrounds, etc. It might not work so well with a closeup of coffee beans though.
  12. Content aware photo stretching

This would be a great filter or tool if available in PhotoShop -- Is Xara 5 a stand alone or does it work with PhotoShop?
  13. Content aware photo stretching

It looks to me like it stretches the outside areas that you choose while leaving the selected area unstretched, even with a flattened image -- very cool!
  14. Saving as a pdf from flex 8

When your "Print" screen comes up try checking the "Print Border to Paper" button.
  15. New HP Designjet L25500 Series Printers

I'll spread some unfounded pricing rumors based on my faulty memory -- Early this year I talked to an HP rep at a open house event and he said that the latex printers would be in the $100,000 range... I think.
  16. new roland technology

I think it was metalic ink. Ability to make any color metalic.
  17. Printing on Chrome....Curling??

Is it possible to leave an unprinted edge all the way around -- 1/8" to 1/4"? This may have been addressed but curling is common at the edges if you bleed the ink all all the way out.
  18. Husky Dog/Icedogs logo

I use Vector Doctor several times a week it seems. If you are busy he will save you a lot of time -- and you can count on professional results.
  19. Hiya! From Perth - Australia.

Cool -- I can even detect the Australian accent in your post. Best of luck --
