I'm in need of approx. 4 feet of 15" wide sprocket punched (Gerber) reflective 7 mil reflective vinyl. It can be any color, so long as the integrity of the adhesive is good. My only other concern is that it be 6 to 7 mil thick.
It's more or less an R&D project and color doesn't mean a...
Without naming names, I visited that huge bookseller (among other stuff) on the web. You know...the one named after that big river...and the rainforest.
Anyway, I searched for a particular item (top-name software) and then went back a day later...only to find the same item drastically reduced...
Just learned about the technique of "blooming" freshly ground coffee before doing a drip pot. Google it for an in-depth review.
I only drink two or three fresh mugs a day, but all I can say is wow...it's raised my snobbery to a whole new level.
Next step is to learn how to roast my own...
Win 7 seems to have everybody's ire up with the icons not staying put on the desktop. I have several dozen shortcuts and icons on the desktop, and every time I log in, they're always moving about. I tried every quick fix suggested...short of messing with the registry...to no avail.
I...
My daughter usually does the majority of weeding for our Hartco 310 sandmask. My gut reaction, now that she's six months pregnant, is that it might not be appropriate due to the skin contact with the material. It's made of PVC, and the material is constantly outgassing (slight presence of...
After royally losing my tail on a few jobs this year, I’ve been working on a solution to help us quickly evaluate future projects. Looking back, it basically boils down to my somewhat cavalier and quick response of “...Yeah, we can do that...” that has been cause of our trouble.
I don’t...
I'm looking at getting a laptop so I can have our accountant help us get set up with QuickBooks. Does anybody synchronize files between two computers, and if so what do you use?
It's not something I'll be doing every day so I want to keep it simple. Will "briefcase" to do the job?

For those of you who have never thought about your business model (or perhaps you don't even know what a business model is), check out Business Model Generation http://businessmodelgeneration.com. It's a highly visual book for helping you better understand how to create, deliver and capture...
Wow...I can't even begin to count the number of small business I've patronized where they've conducted "back office" activities at the receptionist desk. I've seen confidential scribblings, checks laying within sight (and reach), and other sensitive information that should be kept behind closed...
I've been pricing a new copy of AutoCAD LT 2014 for the past six months, and earlier this fall it was going for $839.00. When I went to pull the trigger last Tuesday, it had gone up to $849.00. And as of today, it's at $869.00.
I won't name any names, but it's the huge online store named...
It would have been his 78th birthday today. It's been a rough day, so I spent the afternoon etching granite in his memory. This is going to a special memorial garden at the hospital.
It might be difficult to see, but the text on the bench top is curved to follow the contour.

For Sale:
Gerber Omega 4 Layout Station with USB dongle and blank registration card. Sealed software was first opened on 11-19-13 to make sure that disc loaded properly, and that the dongle works. Everything is perfect and this is essentially new software, albeit version 4.

I was just getting used to being called a father-in-law, and I'm already in cue for the second stage...this is so freakin' awesome!
We were pretty sure our newlywed daughter and her husband wouldn't waste any time when it came to making us grandparents...and they sure didn't disappoint...
Just checking in to see if there are any AutoCAD users on this forum. I've been an avid AutoCAD user ever since 2000i came out. I'm making preparations to update to 2014LT since 2000i most likely won't work with WIN8. I've been out of the loop for so long (running the old 2000i software), but...
Just hung the "closed" sign on the door and turned out the lights. Tomorrow at 0630, it's "wheels up" for Greenville, SC and I'm looking forward to a long weekend visit with cousins and an elderly uncle I haven't seen in nearly 30 years. We've been planning it for 6 months.
I'm just as...

If so, what brand? Any comments?
