You can get this material from other suppliers, Ultraflex still makes it. We buy ours from Fellers, I think Lexjet sells it also. Love it for retractables. Been using it for about 12+ years.

We have used this primer before, and it does work great. The problem we have is the topcoats. What do you paint on top of this? It has to be oil based, correct? We have found that unless we wait 4-5 days, 1 shot paints react to the primer.

Just recommend they coat the wall with Gardz sealer. Then it doesn't matter what kind of paint they use.

We have had the exact same problem. Papers wrinkle, especially at larger sizes. The challenge is finding a material that is very thin, but rigid. Grimco's Rollup material has worked well for us. We solvent print it, but I believe it is Latex printable. Magic POS pro would probably work, too, but...

You need to work with a Sign Engineering firm , like Sullaway or YJ Inc. They cost much less and are very experienced with sign design .

You should use clear plex or polycarbonate, otherwise you are getting two layers of white diffuser and it will make the sign dark. However, the best way to make a backlit panel is to have white plex with a clear vinyl graphic that is printed color white color. Signs 365 or most any wholesaler...
