i only print about 500 to 600 feet of material a week. so i calibrate about every 2 weeks.
look at the usage of your printheads. mine last about 5000 to 8000 ml of usage before they start having issues
i run all my prints on a 10 pass. but if your picking up a red hue. i would suggest doing a color calibration. have you updated the firmware recently or changed anything
those mutohs are fairly easy to work on. and if you cant find someone local to poip in and help you fix it, i would start a thread here and a few of us might be able to help talk you through repairing it yourself..

keep in mind one persons version of its been printing fine is not the same as someone elses.
if they put it into storage correctly and did a good clean up on the machine. it should load and fire up perfectly.
the list of possible headaches with a used machine placed into storage is never ending...
its a very straight mark and evenly spaced. it might even be that your putting down to much ink and its not drying fast enough and is running along a groove
your test print looks really good. looking at your prints i would look at the surface under the print. looks like something is pushing up and making the print rub the underside of your printhead
color management has so many different variables.
even the same computer using illustrator will give you different results depending on the pages color space.
i can see its banding really bad. your print heads also are not firing correctly. black being the worst
but looks like you have more than one problem in that print. i would start with cleaning up your print heads.
next take a look at your encoder it might be dirty also

with all trademarks there is a part of the law called free use. i would suggest looking at how the law reads (its based on each states law) and see if it applys to you. most make an exemption for using it in a non commercial manor.
for me, complete design is chargeable. simple clean up i usally just eat it. if they send real crap, its chargeable.
i love producing a product that meets or exceeds the customers expectation.

yes at this point the paint has failed and needs to be repaired or the graphics will fail also.
happens to me all the time. an easy fix is scrap or sand the paint to remove any loose paint, hit it with some primer and then apply the graphics. if its just the powder from oxidation. that needs...
I like many others prefer to buy a licence to use a product verses just renting one.
I am the type that doesnt upgrade unless i really need to. i dont like taking chances on my working production end up not working cause of some little update.

i have the hp 360. my machine doesnt tell me when to replace a head. i usally watch for banding or run a test print to check them. mine tend to need replacing about 8000 ml to 10,000 ml. i have had to replace a few sooner but not often.
