I was also thinking maybe not the encoder. First I would change the head cables with OEM (which is the cheaper fix). They do get contaminated with ink spray. Then the head (which is the expensive fix) ! But change the cables also. I hope it's a cable as that print test is perfect. SC

That heater setting is way to high my machine runs at an average of 32 - 35 - 37. What will be happening is the heat and the roller is distorting the material. Turn the heat down and try again. Also clean the rollers as they may become sticky with the excess heat. SC
