sounds to me like your encoder strip just needs to be cleaned. take it out, wipe it down(just with a nice clean rag) and put it back. you can turn it upside down if you never have. Should print like new! Good luck

Agree with Laserman70. We have used our transfer tape rollers and set a blade on the reel and just unwind the roll. works perfect, and there is no edge to deal with. best of luck!

Go into your print and cut setup. Click on the cutter option. Click on tools and there should be a box you can check, or uncheck in this case. Hope this helps.

This comes up when I try to go into service mode to replace a head on my sp300-v. I am using the service manual and it says nothing about this happening or bypassing it. I own the same machine, and i let them go until there was a problem...another lesson learned the hard way. The parts you mentioned all protect the heads, and sitting is worse than constant use. They are all very inexpensive to replace. Whereas a head starts at $850.00. I now replace these parts...
