  1. Pinch Roller Tension

Hey everybody. I was just wondering if it is possible to adjust the pinch roller tension on the Roland SC-540. We are having major issues with the reflective not staying straight in the machine and screwing everything up. And its reflective so its really cheap to destroy everything. New pinch...
  2. Environmental Match wont work

Called a tech. I guess the sensor in the back was loose and part of the plate was covering it up. Now I can do an environmental match. Hopefully that fixes my damn cutting problems. AARRGGHH!!! Sorry for whining. Its been a hell of a day. Thanks guys..
  3. Environmental Match wont work

I have removed the media and it keeps telling me to remove the media. Is a sensor broken or something? Bout to jump off a mountain today. I hate this business. Thanks.
  4. Roland Pinch Roller Questions

So I am looking for the middle pinch rollers for my Roland SC-540. I have been looking online at very inconsistent results. Some as low as 8 and some as high as 58. My question is what size is the proper size for the Roland SC-540? On Ebay I see a couple different sizes like 3 x 11 x 16, some...
  5. Roland SC-540 Heater Issues

So the heater on my Roland is toking the crack pipe. I have it set to 38 but it always goes clear up to 60 until I turn it off. Any suggestions? It is driving me insane.
  6. Bloody Wheel Marks

It usually only happens on the first little bit. So I'm leaning towards it sitting on the heater for too long and that messes it up somehow. We usually buy the better quality material too so I don't think that is an issue. And I normally do only use the 2 outer wheels but often it will cause my...
  7. Bloody Wheel Marks

So this drives me up a wall and I never understand why the hell it happens. Sometimes when printing the print will be discolored where the wheels have been traveling. It is NEVER consistent and happens sometimes and sometimes not. I do not get it. Anybody have any insights?
  8. Roland Colorrip cutpath issue

I tried that. I even tried totaly different colors in a new file and the same result. My guess is the black touching all those different colors messed it up somehow. I am using an archaic RIP software too so that probably has a lot to do with it.
  9. Roland Colorrip cutpath issue

So I fixed the issue by putting a very thin white offsett around the gradient and that did the trick. Very bizzare. I also tried different color gradients with different color backgrounds with the same result. The white line did the trick.
  10. Roland Colorrip cutpath issue

So I have a logo we are die cutting for a company. There is a gradient inside with a black border around it. The problem I am having is when I pull it into the rip software, it is turning the gradient into a cutpath on all logo's but one. I have tried using a different color as the cutpath...

  12. Print Profile Books

Does anybody know what I mean when I say print profile book? We have a few binders with all the color possibilites for some of our profiles. It has Cyan going down Magenta going horrizontal in 10 percent increments and every page you flip goes up 10 percent yellow. Does that make sense? I am...
