Reading this thread I was just experiencing the same issues. Figured it out. We had set it to use segmented registration marks when we made the file. Because the file was short it didn't print any extra middle marks. When we would send the file we would immediately get a registration failed...
The machines are already grounded. Use an existing unpainted screw or drill a small hole and just tie the string to the machine. Static string is all you need.

I would suggest finding a used machine and having the dies for the hole sizes you need made. most of them have a flat table that you can build off of and bolt your squares to so that you make the hole alignment for each size...
I agree with Gino in that it's closer to an orange tree with off shape oranges. The grid pattern bugs me. I don't like how it goes straight up and then fades off at the top of the trees. Just all around not a huge fan.
But instead of convincing them to change the logo. Convince them to...
Why not just apply it by hand it doesn't take much longer and comes out just as nice.
When is the last time you replaced the rubber on your squeeze roller? We replace rubber on our laminators and application tables every other year basically. Because of this. Especially on the squeeze...
Take it to a lumber yard. Match a similar grain and stain and make them yourself. Felt from the craft store can be glued to the bottom.
I wish while you were typing a response it would show you current responses being submitted. Gino stole my answer.
1. Create the print and cut file from illustrator with cutting master.
2. Export the print file to flexi with the registration marks on it already.
3. Only use flexi to print the file.
4. Connect the graphtec to the illustrator computer and cut the print from cutting master.
Your life will...
Do you find it hard to charge for your talent???? These layouts could easily be copied and digitally printed for I'm guessing half the cost. How do you market the added cost of your signs? What's the benefit to the end user. Lifespan of the paint vs. lifespan of the vinyl?
Can you give us a walkthrough of your setup process for print/cut. With illustrator and flexi and other programs there are different ways you can setup the print/cut file. There might be something in the process you are doing that is throwing it off. Normally when you see cuts like this that...
We use a HP and the MUTOH trafficJet. We use a leader after the material is loaded and attach it just after it comes out of the curing area on the HP. We don't use a leader on the MUTOH
Would recommend 10pass curing temp seems high on the first round. Would recommend higher ink density as well. Did you get a 3M profile or are you using a generic profile?
I wouldn't say this is user error. I would say this is common issue. It has more to do with the how far you are through the roll when you load the material and the way HP designed the media path. Fresh material has a nice flat edge and loads pretty well. Material towards the end of the roll...
Nope. This is a sealant, not an adhesive, should be used to seal gaps, not to bind and hold two objects together.
Liquid Nails if you want a caulk style adhesive. Otherwise VHB would be more of a temporary thing for me.
