Hello guys
I need some assistance with an upcoming project I have. I have an HP R2000 and I need to print a large amount of 5’x10’ styrene sheets (0.03) for a customer. The issue I am having is that the boards curl up due to the heat/static constantly causing head strikes. I’ve lowered the...
I am having one heck of a time printing quality prints on styrene .04 with the Scitex FB700. The belt has ink buildup (which I have been working to get it off, it wasn't taken care of before I started this position) I know that could be part of the problem. But even on photo plus and fine text...

Does anybody have any experience printing on ABS Board with a flat bed printer. I recently tried and the sheet kept warping and bubbling up causing the print head to hit it. I think the heat from the UV bulbs was causing this.
Does anybody have any suggestions to stop this problem???
Recently (6mo) got a Scitex FB700 and am loving it and have been able to troubleshoot most issues but have been having an ongoing battle with thin polystyrene. We had an old laminator that we were trying to faze out which I thought would never work but our sales team has basically eliminated...
I have a client that needs 1000 6"x6" lawn posting signs for when they treat lawns for bugs.
This is required legally, super basic. We usually build signs and do big vinyl so high volume print jobs are usually subbed out and marked up.
The vendors I am seeing out there for this only offer...
I am printing on Avery 2920 and installing it onto .060 styrene. It a full digi print, and my table guy is by himself so he installed it wet "splash"
The sign looked great, however the next day hundreds of air bubbles showed up making the sign unsellable.
Anyone have this problem and how...
Looking for recommendations on a flatbed printer for styrene. What are my cutting options - laser, blade, router? Would appreciate your feedback if you have one and how they perform. Thanks.
Are there other materials for signs suitable for outdoors which will last at least 2-3 years besides styrene? I've tested .080 styrene which I think will work well, but what other options are there that may be less inexpensive? I know PVC will expand and contract, but what is the life...
I'm launching a new product this spring which requires flatbed printing on styrene and laser cutout. Overlay isn't cost effective and I can't use router cutting. I will have approx 70-80 cutouts for a 4x8 sheet full color on .080 Styrene. I am doing prototype testing and trying to find a...
