pretty nozzle check.... make sure there is slack in the media and that the machine isnt pulling against the weight of the roll. These machines dont do well pulling any kind of weight.
Thanks all....obviously this could change the whole cost model so I dont want to screw that up. Ive got plenty of union experience but that was in the transport industry...so much fun.
Sorry guys...guess what I was thinking and what came out are two different things.
The facility is a union facility and Im not sure how that works as far as installation. This is mostly printed/cut, wall and glass vinyl. Manhattan.
I have the potential for a nice little job just outside of the city. My question is....how do you deal with the union shops? Are there unions that you would need to hire, join, pay? Not sure how that works but definitely want to walk the right path. Anyone with experience here?
Thanks!
Dont hesitate to check the entire ink line from the cartridge to the damper.... Had a small pinhole/crack about the middle of the machine. Kind of a pain to replace but that was the problem. Of course no one had ever heard of such a thing. Im always the first for the cool stuff.
I havent been on in a while but had this problem recently. Its the flex cable that travels with the head. You will need to replace it. Not expensive but kind of a pita.
