I am not sure of the dimensions of the groove and not sure if liquid-tite conduit will be flush to the fascia after installation. The landlord wants the groove to disappear and to be finished just like the wall sections above and below.
The thread hijacked. It is about Corel 2020 and not about competing products.
Corel is an industry leader in eh SIgn business. for may reason that I do not want to get into here. All I can say is that in my experience nine out of ten sign companies prefer Corel over Adobe.
As for the...
The landlord in Florida wants the wiring run not behind the wall, but on the facade in what he calls "the groove" which I see as expansion joints. The idea is to run the wire and cover it in a "weatherproof sealant".
In my 25 years as an architectural & Electrical Sign Designer, I have never...
There is a general panic in the populace. More people die from regular influenza. More people are killed in traffic accidents, etc.
The advent of social networking has had a negative effect as fake news and bogus blogs and websites spread misinformation.

Thank you all for your help. The design changed from FCO letters to a fabricated assembly. FCO acrylic letters mounted to an aluminum "cloud" backer. so the sign became one unit and will cast a single shadow. That made it easier for me to design for sure....

I upgraded yesterday and they charged me $291.04 for the upgrade to version 2019, the yearly subscripton and some program called "Painter Essentiials 6" that was thrown is as a sales gimmick.
I got tired of Corel 2018 crashing and having to reset it so many times. They had me by the ba*&s and I...
Agreed. Each company has its own graphic design culture and the newbie has to adjust to it. But artists tend to be freewheeling and independent because of ther creative art school training. Desingers who went trough technical drafting school, like me, are more used to conformity. qnd working...

Putting on vinly copy and graphics first surface can cause shadowing on the frosted vinyl that is second surface. If you reverse cut the copy and logo and then apply it second surface and then apply the frosted crystal vinyl with the copy and logo weeded out with a 1/8" bleed it can be all...
Every time I see the word "organic" it grates on me. It was co-opted by the hippie set from chemistry. Oranic by definition is a chemical compound that is carbon and hydrogen based. Hell, charcoal briquets are organic. They can eat them. Or wait, they are the same ones that eat Tide Pods. ...
