Thank you all for your help. The design changed from FCO letters to a fabricated assembly. FCO acrylic letters mounted to an aluminum "cloud" backer. so the sign became one unit and will cast a single shadow. That made it easier for me to design for sure....

Corel Draw can easily convert bitmap lines to vector objects. Even better, newer versions of Corel can covert dashed lines to cuttable vector shapes.
