Did you used to get full black in the past or were you never able to get it with your current setup? One thing that comes to mind is that some inks produce a greenish black regardless of the processing. It's the ink, in that case.

I meant switching to a different brand of ink, not just a new bag.

Could be an ink issue, especially if you have worked to rule out other possibilities. I have seen several cases of banding such as this going away after switching inks.

Are you looking specific media profiles or profiles for different print modes?

We're ink guys ourselves so take what I say with a grain of salt. We have only dealt with their UV inks, which are crap. Low quality and high-potential to damage printheads. But maybe their eco-solvent inks are better *shrug*

Promoter is a great suggestion, though some UV inks do not require it to adhere well to ACM. Do you print white on the ACM?

To expand on this, we refuse to sell UV ink to people who use Epson heads because those heads don't have the heating element necessary to make the ink optimally viscous. Possibly heads have the heater but I'm not sure.
