It connects to the right hand side of the cleaning station as you look at it from the front, towards the back. You should see a hole where the sensor diodes part fits through
Yes, it is the wiper position sensor, it tells the printer when the wipers have moved and gone back into the correct position. If this is faulty the printer wont initialise properly. I have the sensors in stock if you need one
It is an encoder sensor, but there should be a black cover over diodes so it won't work like that. Can you post a pic of the front of the board and I should be able to work out which one it is as the printer has various ones in different places
Roland only make a limited number of spares for each model. They get discontinued once they have sold out, so your only option is to get a used panel. Dealers dont tend to keep stuff like that in stock, if they needed one they would just order from Roland when they needed it
It is just random shapes and lines, it doesn't really represent anything. If they are automotive maybe look for something based on gears as it would be relevant?
Yep, look in Versaworks and under the cutting options there is one to ignore the printer settings and use the one in VW instead. Make sure this isn't on and the printer should take the pressure you set on the menu screen
The bearings from digiprint are cheap chinese knock off ones, they arent the same quality as the genuine OEM ones. The carriages should run perfectly smoothly.
I have sets of 3 OEM bearing blocks in stock, all tested and working properly if you need them
If it is starting black then you have black ink soaking into the cyan head in the cap top. Normally this is a damper problem, so change both of them and it should fix it
It could be a lot of things. Is unlikely to be the motor as this will generally give an error code. You really need to see what it is trying to do when it goes into that state. Try running a cleaning on it and see if it works ok doing that.
Is it printing ok when you send it jobs?
For now if...
Without retail premises you will probably struggle to make $500 - $1000 a month extra income. There are so many cheap online sellers now that competing with them when you aren't an established sign shop is pretty hard.
The best way to wrap that in a single colour is to paint it! Seriously, some shapes really don't work well with wraps. It works best on larger mostly flat areas like car panels, which is why it is popular for those. You see very few nearly spherical shapes being wrapped.
