We use Spandex double sided and print on the matte side.
Liner comes off better and ink adheres better than the gloss side.
Pick the liner up all along one end about 15mm then pat it back down.
Lay cheap d/s tape along that edge then stick a core to it.
Roll it off without stopping then print...
We tried some of the HP Prime calendared. It prints well but I thought the adhesive was a bit weak. Maybe it sets up stronger after a little time but we didn't re order.
All the HP media was on crazy mark down prices recently so I imagine it hasn't been a great hit.
Haven't tried that paper.
We're using Top Color uncoated from Canon. It's surprisingly cheap from Canon.
It's only 1067 wide but that's fine for most posters.
On the Epson we use coated eco sol paper. Yes it costs more than cheap vinyl.
We can use cheap uncoated paper on the Colorado, even bond paper for super cheap posters.

Apparently there's a new simpler way of profiling - I'm getting trained next week.
We have profiled about 6 of our media and they are using less ink than the canned profiles.
We've got one. They are great printers.
Changing rolls is so easy you won't believe it after the latex.
I haven't tracked ink usage as precisely as some but initial reports showed the cost was a little higher than Canon's estimate but not much.
It really is quite frugal with ink.
