  1. Best print quality printer

Yes, we most certainly did when we used a profile on our Epson S70675 that included those inks. (Epson kindly informed us they didn't care) We changed our profiles immediately and dealt with the consequences. We went with the S60600 with MCS inks for our upgrades here to have warranted inks.
  2. Best print quality printer

I do NOT recommend the extended ink colors from Epson at all. Most of those colors fade out within 6 months to a year of UV exposure, turning your reds "pink" and other unwanted issues. They are NOT warranted like the other colors for longevity. No other company warrants those other colors...
  3. Best print quality printer

Also, as a photographer you need to include the lifespan on the inks into your equation if you're selling prints off of your printer. I'd never ever recommend a latex to a photographer as they are "production" machines and the small details on them are pretty bad once the head starts degrading...
  4. Recommendations for Roll Up Banner Stands

They have a couple different pricing views available. The pricing that shows up on their website when you're not logged in is the MSRP; not the price that it is to you.
  5. Recommendations for Roll Up Banner Stands

We normally use Showdown Displays for these. To me, an assembled/printed banner display should be around $150 retail out the door. (unless artwork costs need figured in)
  6. S80600 w/Onyx. How to print more white?

You might want to look at outsourcing these to someone with a thermal printer if they're around 12x12. We have both the large format Epson printers and also smaller Gerber Edge thermal printers for specialty jobs like this. We run both every day.
  7. S80600 w/Onyx. How to print more white?

How large of decals are you talking? The white we get out of our Epson is about the same as printing onto a translucent white vinyl. It's kinda opaque but isn't a "block out" as that requires other colors and not just white, as white pigment isn't light blocking. (like block out vinyl has a gray...
  8. Fire Truck Font

Thank yall, I used Square Slab Serif Medium and it was a perfect match.
  9. S80600 w/Onyx. How to print more white?

What is the desired end result supposed to look like?
  10. Fire Truck Font

I don't know this one, do you?
  11. Resolution Settings Explanation

The media feed is the made through the material selection you make when you load the material (on the actual printer). It determines the head height, roll direction, and the "feed speed/length/advance". Even after you get it happy it seems like you have to re-calibrate it every few months...
  12. Suggested dpi for non-vector image

If the resolution looks questionable, get yourself a copy of Gigapixel AI and run it through that.
  13. Epson S30670 Help

IIRC it is done through the Service Program.
  14. Best vinyl for metal kegs

Are your kegs stainless? 3M makes a print vinyl specifically for stainless steel that we use and haven't had any issues. 180mc-sls
  15. Eco-Solvent Ink Material for Epson 80600

You might want to look for other local vendors. Tell them you are looking for non-vinyl substrates and see what all brands they carry (if their websites don't list that). Check out those manufacturers and what all they make/sell, many vendors are not aware or knowledgeable about everything they...
  16. Resolution Settings Explanation

I don't think we've printed anything out of our S60600 with more than 6 pass, and we run a lot on 4 pass. Calibrate your media feeds and get some good profiles and you can speed that baby up.
  17. Fire Truck Fonts

    LHF Smalts
  18. Need Help What Causes This?

Either a profile issue or media issue. Try the same profile on a known good media and see what it looks like. I use the same custom profile for all gloss media here, and some medias it just looks grainier on. I think it is due to a crappier/cheaper surface coating, as the nicer/pricier medias...
  19. Latex 315 Didn't Print Overlap. Color Band Issue?

You're going to have to reprint every other panel with wider overlaps to salvage this job. You'll have to run a 60" roll probably to achieve this though, but at least you'll only lose half your materials... You will also have to print the color bars on the wider media you reprint the new panels...
