have a job i run and it requires 2mm white coro 18" x 24" (24" flutes) normally get it from harbor sales but they are about 3-4 weeks for delivery and that's too long. trying to find another supplier and this apparently is a tough item because of the flute direction. anyone have a supplier i...
i use the r-tape AT-60 and AT-65 for the most part they are ok but some times i do get some tunneling or lifting from the vinyl. depends on how long it sits before install.
Don't know how big the banner is but get your self some gorrilla tape or 3m hi-tack tape to help hold it up while you are measuring and making sure it's straight.
Then do what everyone else already mentioned. Another option is the lind spring set up. They are a merchant member and their banner...
anyone ever wrap a removable glass targa top. no issues here with the labor just curious on how long it lasted and what material you used?
did a little research had an avery tech guy tell me that the vinyl causes excessive heat build up on the glass and could cause issues. saw some posts from...
regardless of any sarcastic responses, stupid questions (some of which i may be responsible for) over all this site has been extremely helpful over the years and hopefully it is around for many more
i just want world peace and a home for all the homeless puppies, thank you
(oooo would that be sarcastic :Big Laugh)
personally i don't let the sarcastic responses bother me. mostly because i can be the same way.
i think if someone asks a legitimate question we are supposed to be here to help...
based on that i would use a hi tack vinyl but if it is going on the table felt then i would first try to talk him in to having a hole new felt printed like someone suggested and re-cover the table. also if it's going on the actual table it self is this supposed to be a permanent thing or an...
do you have to print and cut or just cut.
both arlon pdf8000 (for print/cut) and avery hi-tack vinyl (cut only, although i have printed on it but really not made for that) have pretty aggressive adhesives and should stick.
lexan/polycarbonate material subsurface printed. UV printed or silk screened w/ an aggressive adhesive (3M 668MP or better). another option is metalphoto aluminum and put 4 holes in the corners and they can screw or rivet it to the machine/equipment
not sure why they want to wrap it either but apparently their customer is concerned with the surrounding buildings looking at the unit up on the roof (like there is nothing else up there that is hard on the eye???) so they are going to use a sky graphic and wrap it...hey what ever they want to...
i am quoting a job to wrap a generator that will be installed on top of a sky scrapper in the city. customer is worried about it getting damaged while it's being hoisted to the top and i don't think it's a good idea to wrap it on top of a building that high (also having trouble finding workers...
i just went to lowes and found one that worked best for me. i actually have two, one is smaller and has a clip i hook to the small pocket of my jeans the other is larger with a belt and i just use them according to the job they work best with. i think between the two of them i spent $20 or $25
