They need to clean them the night before or you will have to roll the door up and clean the water our from each panel before you can install them.
If your doing them in a heated warehouse I would also have them put inside the night before. That way if it rains they will be dry and ready to...
If it's big enough to be on a core it should be on a rack or in a box. We keep oddball colors in the box with a swatch stuck to the outside. That way they are easy to sort through when looking for a specific color. It also protects the rolls and you can stack them under a table or on a shelf out...
The 7725 series weeds better because the vinyl has a stronger bond on the plastic versus the paper liner. But, you will need to use a more aggressive transfer tape or re-squeegee right before the installation or you'll risk losing or ripping characters.
It's a tradeoff.
I once had a customer...
Doesn't make a lot of sense to disagree with this. A fire or a flood could easily damage the original data and the onsite backup.
Just having a external backup drive in your car greatly increases your chances your data will be safe.
This topic makes my blood boil!!
The fact that Cheetahwraps is cheapest game in town and shows prices to the general public makes me furious. I yelled and screamed at the sales rep and the best I got was matching prices on 3M and was told that there is no warrantee when you buy from...
Dropbox is a great answer. You can get 120 days of version history on the cheaper 2g plan but you can get more if you pay for it.
Version history is awesome when you open a customer file and forget to save as...

Seams are acceptable as Modern Ink suggested hide them in body lines and make them face away from the viewer and they disappear.
As far as the tight spots, you may have to order some tools from www.44tools.com to reach the areas where you can't get your hand or squeegee into. You can also put a...
I guess I am old school and won't use anything but cast on vehicles and I try and look at the cost of a job from start to removal and educate my customers on the overall cost.
Cast doesn't shrink and leave the dirt ring. It will also conform to the rivets better so it will look better and last...
My only experience was with 3 different Multicams and they were great, dependable routers. Close service and good training will be the key though.
The heavier built routers will allow you to cut faster with cleaner edges and your bits will last longer. The heavier more robust motors will allow...
I use them all the time and are definitely worth it. Mine has paid for itself over and over. If you can get the green laser you be able to see it twice as far.
I used to work at a company that made similar signs. We mirrored the text, installed it on the back of plex then painted over it. If the Grey back has an orange peal texture, then that is probably how it was made.
I've seen people use tabs of masking tape to secure the corners of the app tape to the back of the liner. That is the only thing that works for that or you could hand trim the app tape so it doesn't extend so far past the graphic. Another solution would be to ship the graphics flat (expensive...
Looks more like a Fastsigns ad than anything else and you got the reaction you deserved. With absolutely no effort on your part you ask everyone to spend their time designing you a winning entry.
You are also selling this as your contest, which I doubt. 3M contests are usually open to the...
I agree with having a printed PMS chart to get you close. If you use Corel and need further tweaking you can use "Color Spectrum Pro". Just realize that these printers can't print the full spectrum. Sometimes you have to settle for close.
As long as it is fairly flat you can us Graphics Guru's method. Don't for get to post heat. Shapes like bumpers or others you have to stretch, forget about it.
Pretty sure Flexi is the same as Corel and already has a Pantone pallet. It's no guarantee, but if you use that color pallet in your design you should get closer. When you use the pantone pallet it sends the pantone # to the printer instead of RGB or CMYK and then the rip knows exactly what you...
