don't know a lot about this stuff but from what i have seen roland has a pretty simple set up for this. check with local rep or area distributor for roland. Tyrrell tech and i think N. Glantz used to sell a kit as well.

try N. Glantz they carry LED light strips don't know for sure they have what you need but i know they carry the LED strips

you could always just take them off the liner and apply them to a 3M liner (not saying i would ever do such a thing :rolleyes:)

Heat, stretching and patience...... Lots of patience. Or if all else fails see if you can put a seem there. (not the best but may look better then wrinkles or risk of it pulling back from all the stretching)

we have three laminators and when we purchased the one they guy told us to keep it up when not in use to prevent flat spot but we have one that we bought about 5 years before that one and it is always down. never had an issue. i would say to be safe leave them open but if you forget don't lose...

i would suggest a snap frame or a slide frame holder that would be the easiest but if it has to be magnets you could make a pvc or some sort of rigid nameplate and mount these magnets to the back. they have a pretty powerful magnet. also you can get magnetic vinyl in .060 thick that's better...

we have 4 suppliers we use and they all have something they are good at. we just have to make sure we order from them accordingly and with all of them over the years i have heard different people who have had bad experiences with all of them but for us as long as we use them for what they are...

if you are trying to cover it with a decal that is not the best. the vinyl will shrink and if you are going over the buttons the vinyl will ware out.

catzper can be a pain with certain colors (red/burgandys and grays are the worst) that's not because of the program but because of the cymk printing. one thing i have done is do my first round and pick the closest color on that sheet then run catzper again using the new close color and...

if you keep going they way you are doing it you waste a lot of time and material trying to get the right color

if you have to do a lot of color matching the best/ easiest way to start off is get catzper by nazdar. leave all the guess work out and if you want to get involved get the spectrometer and learn how to use it.

what does the printer status say on the ink levels? did you try to pull some ink through with a syringe? try putting a new cart in, maybe something is wrong with the cart or the chip?

never saw that before and not sure but.... check the capping station and hoses. maybe something is clogged and the ink won't drain so it's backing up in the head and on your prints.
