  1. CRAZY returning customer

Don't do anything except shut up. Hell I wouldn't even respond to this post anymore. Don't call your insurance company either you don't want it on your profile. Whatever they claim they have to prove without a doubt. If a lawsuit formed which it won't to prove without a doubt you're at fault...
  2. Need Help Off alignment of blue and pink printhead SOLJET PRO XC-540

I will be completely honest with you if you haven't done this before you need to call a tech and have them come out asap. First off you need a service code if I remember correctly to get into the service menu to run the actual test you need done at the start to see where the heads are at...
  3. Need Help Off alignment of blue and pink printhead SOLJET PRO XC-540

your print heads are out of alignment. You need to actually print the proper head alignment test, get a screw driver and adjust heads in small increments to the black head until the heads are physically aligned right then run the test you posted photos of afterwards. Your black head is going bad...
  4. Need Help New HP 335 with issues have been down to single printer for months.

Try reading through this masterpiece and see if it can help. https://signs101.com/threads/hp-360-de-lamination-issues.123212/ If you are at 3 months you have to demand the machine get sent back for a full refund. I would pick up the new Epson S60600 in exchange with your dealer.
  5. Epson S50675 error 1A39... New Print Heads needed? New Main Board? Help!

You are barking up the wrong tree with a used printer like this on a startup especially the older Epson Surecolors which had problems. The new surecolors are great though. Know that Epson did change the heads/part numbers on that printer because they were having so much trouble with them so make...
  6. How to Print true CMYK ???

What??? So what are you telling your clients with Orange and Green Roland inksets to design with CMYK? Are you telling people who are buying into the VG2 with Orange inks this as well that they should stick with CMYK for accuracy?
  7. How to Print true CMYK ???

This is exactly what I was taught and this is correct. Excellent response overall as well.
  8. How to Print true CMYK ???

You didn't read everything in this thread. You can put your pinky down now.
  9. How to Print true CMYK ???

You just proved my point why my response has everything to do with the OP. You just gave him wrong information. The bulk of my second reply was in response to equippaint to answer your question but was relevant to OP. When OP said he did a C M Y K print and it didn't come out %100 true he felt...
  10. Roland VP540 New Heads installed can't seem to get them aligned What is going on?

Hybrid look at how bad the normal and service mode photos are contradicting themselves in just the gap or space between alone. That service mode alignment isn't too bad you are right but look how spaced out his normal mode test bar print is. Something is going on board or internal parameters...
  11. Roland VP540 New Heads installed can't seem to get them aligned What is going on?

Ok so first thing first. One part at a time if you don't know how to check the electrical parts of the boards. Put in a new encoder strip and see what happens. Then put in a new encoder sensor and see what happens. Do not put anymore heads in this machine except 1 new one in the black head...
  12. How to Print true CMYK ???

I was speaking in terms of digital eco-solvent printing only using a vector based program and should have clarified. There are a lot of factors in a print operation more than I have time to list. There is so much misinformation out there that it will confuse a lot of people. I think dealer sales...
  13. CJV150 from 8-color to 4-color

Stop designing in CMYK first off and design in RGB. When someone tells you otherwise find someone else. but but but but: no: RGB. If you are ok with a slower machine I would just leave it alone. If you want more speed then do it. Don't switch a machine's wider color gamut hitting ability because...
  14. How to Print true CMYK ???

Design in RGB Export as a PDF using RGB Don't listen to anything different.
  15. Roland VP540 New Heads installed can't seem to get them aligned What is going on?

You have serious issues going on here and an alignment problem would be your best problem and you are far from it. The head nozzle test show the machine is not firing correctly even on the new heads. This is usually a board, encoder and or sensor problem usually. You can not align any print...
  16. air scrubbers

Make a charcoal filter system. Check out equippaints thread on here as he mentioned. Buy an external heater for the Epson if you are concerned with the wait time to dry. An external heater bakes the prints immediately and you can laminate right after printing.
  17. Flexi 19 ISSUE = No optiscout regmarks/barcode?

Is anyone that uses Flexi 19 and Optiscout 8 having issues with Flexi 19 not inserting regmarks/video marks and the handheld barcode in their prints? I can get it to insert the postnet barcode used for the summa F series flatbeds but not the proper handheld barcode and not one regmark or video...
  18. Question Onyx 12.1 -> Caldera - worth the cost?

We used Caldera for a minute years ago right before version 10. I think they have a windows option now. The one thing that drove me crazy was they will upgrade and fee you to death per license per machine plus software upgrade cost. Also we had to turn off updates on our mac because if Apple...
  19. Just as I was ready to buy EcoSolvant here comes Latex

HP is better at marketing their platex grain train and Epson is better at printing quality prints then marketing. Go check them out for yourself and you will see what prints the best, it's the Epson. Properly profiled prints are dry to the touch off the Epson but buy a Digi heater and bake the...
  20. Epson S40600 or Epson S60600

Good choice. When you get time get on youtube and look up the Summa barcode option. It's a feature where a RIP like Flexi 12 will add a barcode and automate your cutting. It's not perfect but once you get it set up it's a nice workflow feature.
