I wasn’t sure.., I thought it might be possible, as when you change the location of the source PDF, versa can’t print the job, so it’s obviously not embedded etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I use versaworks dual with my xr-640... I primarily use PDFs created from either illy or Corel..... So my question is this.... once I’ve gone through and set up all the settings, ie layout, Roland colours, marks, Profiles etc.... then I print and argh...notice something I need to fix on...

Hey, its because when corel converts to eps, it turns any gradients or drop shadow into little strips....you are better off breaking apart the drop shadfow in corel, then converting it to a transparent image...use a higher dpi setting if you are printing it larger.....

It’s your PDF..... PDF can’t go any bigger than 200 inches (or somewhere close to that) If you try to export it from illustrator or Corel etc, it’ll just be a blank file.... Make your art final size 50% of the final and do then scale it up 200% scale in versa Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ya, i didnt say he couldnt, just that he hasnt done a lot of work with it.....but i googled it like i probably should of in the first place and found out why its a bad idea to use wet installs with air egress

So i got a 20' cargo trailer with some large sized printed decals to do....i print all my printed stuff for cars etc on air egress vinyl (with lamination, of course).....My installer guy typically does a wet install as hes more comfortable with it when doing large windows or backlit signage...

that seems pretty warm....i use (pre) 33 (print) 34 and 47 (post).... a little less post on banner materials etc....
