  1. Is hp 792 and 789 latex ink similar and used on L26500 ?

No. Chips and ink are different. HP uses the same sized and shaped housing for ink cartridges across many platforms, but the chips on them are different per printer, as well as ink formulas.
  2. Listen for the possibilities. Just because.

I've had enough of 2 sided contests, thank you.
  3. Question Alternative to Flexi for Windows

Vector? Do you mean raster? Flexi is all vector unless you import a raster image. And to me Flexi is the best at editing/creating/handling vectors. I think you are confused.
  4. COVID sign humor

Um...I think that is part of the whole joke.... wow.
  5. Programs

Are you a business or just an at home decal maker? If a business, you do know you can charge money on your jobs to offset the cost, ANY cost, of producing your product? Therefore, free or little cost software shouldn't be a consideration, if you want something productive and dependable.
  6. Discussion What's your shop's typical day like in terms of shop efficiency?

Sounds exactly like my day. With several interruptions with rush jobs that throw off my flow.
  7. If Biden is elected

Well as long as the witch Pelosi and her cronies stay in office, none of that will ever change.
  8. HP 560 Latex vinyl waste

Yes that's obviously what I meant...LOL. We run maybe $80k in digital print every month. Even with that throwing away that much wasted vinyl is a lot. Sure we have waste factored into our pricing, but maybe not enough after seeing these figures.
  9. HP 560 Latex vinyl waste

Did some calculations, and I came to this nauseating conclusion. With this 560, always losing the first 1.5-2' of material that has to be fed out before printing, I estimated throwing away around $7000 worth of vinyl per year (based on our standard intermediate vinyl, 54" - this is likely higher...
  10. DIY Di-Noc?

I did just this for the tops of all our desks in the shop.
  11. Need Help Large Depth for Signs

This, or just make a pan sign.
  12. overlaminate recommendation

Personally have never laminated a wall mural. If you're scratching during install then change squeegees, or your installer. And figure out why your ink isn't curing adequately.
  13. Why would 3M 7725 be used for a city spec?

If you only knew how many times X brand was spec'd and I used Y brand. Unless you're sending them RTA decals, they're never gonna know. I like to think "or equivalent" is implied in the specs...LOL. As long it's high performance/cast, I am sure it's fine.
  14. Dry Erase Magnetics

I guess I don't understand your need for thicker laminate. Thicker material does not mean better.
  15. Dry Erase Magnetics

That second photo really looks to me like they laminated over cut lettering. Normal dry erase laminate should work just fine on prints or directly to blank magnet. And your .033" makes sense.....030" magnet with 3 mil laminate; adds up.
  16. Large quantity cut vinyl supplier

It can't be print and cut? 500-1000 really isn't a lot....1000 at that size is like 9 feet of 54" material.
  17. Need Help Rectangles are bowed when cut.

Using OPOS and it is reading the length of the bar before it cuts? It should be doing so to adjust for any bowing in the print. It's caused by too high heat when printing.
  18. People are getting edgy lately...

Yes this is part of it. Kind of like the "keyboard warrior" mentality. "You can't see me (except for my eyes) so I can be as rude and disrespectful as I want". I've seen it lately as well.
  19. Reverse print on clear, laminate with white then cut. But how?

Simply print mirror on clear, with a border about 1" around your image. Then when you print, the reg marks are well far way from the print. Cut your backing white vinyl the same size as the border box you printed and laminate it. Your reg marks are clear and ready for the plotter.
