  2. Cutter Blades - Summa, Clean Cut, etc..

Have been getting Clean Cut blades for quite some time. Haven't had any issues really. Current one in my Summa right now has been in for at least a year, and I also cut a lot of laminated vinyl with it. When my guys start having issues weeding out normal text then I know it's time to change it out.

  5. Chance for me to help a friend. FOnt ID. 5 or 6 different

Yeah I don't get why fonts need to match if you're just recreating an info chart. Eurostile or Europa should work fine as mentioned. As well as Helvetica/Swiss or any similar font.

  12. Need Help How many profiles do you really need?

This sounds like an owner who doesn't care about quality.....I don't even comprehend someone not wanting to take the time to do things right and create your profiles. Being busy isn't an excuse.
  13. Quality Check

The seams are ok. The photo with the bubbles (image2)....those shouldn't be there if it's proper air release wrap vinyl. They should press out with a finger. The other wrinkles (image 3) is pretty bad to me, and indicates it might be 3m 180C, as I've had that issue with the stuff. They might...
  14. Mimaki UCJV300-160 - Problem Printing Red

Well that should not be anyone's opinion when you are dealing with CMYK. You can't expect a device with 4 colors (yeah yeah, it might be 6 with Lc and Lm or whatever configuration your printer has) to output a MIXED color right off the bat without tweaking the profiles. That's like expecting a...
  15. Securing 3mm PVC to Painted Wood

I don't advise 3mm PVC for a sign like this. Switch to 3mm ACM, and screws alone will suffice.
  16. Tiling wall graphics tips

Also run them with a colorbar. This helps with color continuity too.

  20. Why do you call lexel silicone?

Maybe you're not using the 'right' silicone. GE Silicone I is a great adhesive for most stuff. Don't get the regular silicone II sealant stuff. For metal signs we use Lord 810 Signlok.
