  1. Question sp540v motors

    Nope
  2. Onyx GamaPrint or Onyx Thrive?

Upgrade to Thrive. Gamma Print is a minimal RIP and you'll run into "How to" questions sooner than later where the answer would be to Upgrade to Thrive. Do it now and you won't be sorry. Good Luck
  3. Need Help My print head might not be firing...

The ink on the heads shorted out something. Hopefully a fuse, but imho, probably the printhead. You should have a couple of fuses on the main board. Check them with an Ohm meter to see if they're still good. If not replace the bad one. (Buy extras for troubleshooting at this point) If it...
  4. Mimaki's recommendations for maintaining your machine during downtime

HP came out with this one. It was in my inbox this morning: https://hplatexknowledgecenter.com/blog/extended-downtime-procedure-hp-latex-110-300-and-500-printer-series And Roland's is here: Inkjet Downtime Reference Guide Stay Safe!
  5. Print ( GREY ) without spot color ?

2 things come to mind... 1. Your profile is designed for viewing outdoors and you're viewing them under fluorescent light. Try viewing your greys outside and see if the change in lighting improves the gray. 2. You need to linearize your profile. This will balance out your CMY levels to be more...
  6. Really getting bored now

    That'll keep 'em away!
  7. Dont know about you, but my buisiness just stopped

Our tech inbox will typically have 6 -12 emails in it overnight on any given day. This morning, just one. Our California branches have shut down to comply with local and state orders, but our other branches are open and trying to ship material into covered areas. Out tech team is working from...
  8. One-two punches seem to abound....

Hang in there everyone. (easily said as it's bright and sunny here in the beautiful Pacific NW) We'll all come out the other side of this a little stronger.
  9. Need Help Disinfectants suitable for laminated graphics

It would probably have some dependency on the specific laminate, so any testing should be done with your laminate. I would also advise the customer that the products have not been tested long term with any disinfectants. Alcohol may have been tested by the manufacturer though. I would check...
  10. Need Help Latex 370 reds fading in and out.

Replace it with a new one???
  11. flexi cloud working for you?

They pop right up for me. Have you rebooted?
  12. Vinyl wrap refrigerator or kitchen cabinets?

Nice. I did the fridge in our camp trailer with a picture of Crater Lake on it - it bridged the freezer and fridge doors. That was a few years ago and a different trailer and I no longer have a picture on my phone.
  13. Roland VG-540i

Call your dealer and talk with a tech. They can get them.
  14. Need Help acrylic cracking after applying vinyl.

How long after printing did you apply the white vinyl? If you trap the solvents from the ink by laminating too soon, you can force the solvents to out gas through the clear and adhesive.
  15. Roland Eco Sol Max

This is almost always caused by a poor cap top seal. The printer counts down the ink it uses (or actually thinks it uses) during cleaning cycles. If the seal isn't good (due to poor maintenance, age or defective cap tops, the pumps suck air rather than ink. Once it writes down the chip...
  16. Media Does not exist

Close Flexi and restart it. It should refresh the media from the printer when you go to the quality tab in Rip and Print. Good Luck
  17. Electrostatic Graphtec Flatbed

The electrostatic hold down works well. But if you cut into the bed, you'll ruin it and it's not considered to be a replaceable part really. The vacuum table is what we typically sell most often.
  18. 2 Rolands 1 Print

Don't rule this out just because you haven't had problems in the past. It appears from the pics you posted that yellow isn't firing as it should on the print on the right. You didn't post a print of the nozzle test - that's always where I start.
  19. Some customers...

No matter how simple your instructions are, you'll eventually run into someone even more simple than the instructions. Sometimes you just can't win.
  20. HP Post-Warranty Service Plan...

The price is cheaper if you buy the service contract at the same time you purchase the printer. After that it goes up. Once the printer is out of warranty, I don't think you can get a service contract on it, but they may have a grace period. You could opt to self serve if you choose. Some...
