If it's a size that's not commonly used, it could be that it's sat at the distributor's warehouse for a few months, preceeded by sitting in the manufacturer's warehouse for a few months all before it gets to your place and sits for a few months. It all adds up. And if any of those locations...
If you had a clear one before, it wasn't OEM. Roland wiper scrapers are black. It's likely that it's not installed correctly. When you install it, you should be able to push the bottom towards the back without any resistance and then it should be rigid when pushing the bottom towards the...
You can use different halftone settings. That looks like a large dot size. The Edge2 can go pretty fine. Try setting the halftone setting to a finer setting. The trade off is usually in gradients though. Larger dots give smoother transitions in larger printers and smaller dots will give...
Have you lubricated your rails lately? I had a customer use too much oil, which then dripped for quite some time and left white spots on the media. Do you have an air vent blowing on the printer? Another customer did and it was blowing dust onto the media on the way into the printer. It...
This was given to me probably around 25 years ago by my son who was probably 5th or 6th grade at the time. It came with 9 1$ bills inside the envelope. I haven't found anything to spend this on that would mean more to me than the gift itself. I keep it in my backpack and still take it on...
Turn off all the power and let it rest for 5 minutes. Turn on the main power in the rear, but not in front. Try connecting with Peck tool and see if you can download a report. If so, proceed with uploading parameters. If not, check network, IP settings etc. Make sure that you have Type3...
You need to install the drivers before you plug in the USB to Serial adapter. If not, remove it in the device manager, making sure that you remove the associated drivers and install the drivers before plugging in the adapter. Then it should show up under the "Ports - Com and LPT" section in...
Also check your Queue folder (you'll find a link to it in the start menu) make sure that there's nothing in there besides the gsp.net file and the SPL folder. Sometimes files will get stuck in here and not show up in the GQManager.
I usually do a head wash - either from the control panel or manually with a syringe. You'll need cleaning cartridges and foam dummy cartridges to do this. Then after you get cleaning fluid coming through all channels, replace the head and dampers, then ink up with the OEM inks.
Good Luck
NOTE: If you're not familiar with electronics or working with electrical circuits, please leave this to a qualified technician.
This is the 5 volt circuit (logic) not the (more or less) 20v circuit that fires the head. Also, it is showing low on both the print head and the LCD. This could be...
You can literally print from any program that has a File>Print menu function including Corel.
I really don't use that workflow, but I set it up for some customers who prefer to use it that way. I'll have to install the printer driver on my computer and get back to you on that.
You are correct. Roland does have Pantone Look Up Tables and will use those values when ripping a file as long as the color names match and you have checked the box for "Convert Spot Color" in the file format tab of the queue default settings before importing the file.
