  1. PVC

My client says it does. So I go with that. we typically use palram half inch...and I know its not outdoor durable as much as the komatex and we advise as such when selling it to clients. The komatex can be treated or sealed with a clear coat...I dont see why not. We dont have a spray booth...

That looks like its from the mill and a mechanical issue in the manufacturing. Not even fingerprints or swipes of hands. Have you tried another brand of coroplast? Looks like a bad batch of sheets.
  3. PVC

There are outdoor PVC's available. Komatex is ordered by one of our clients that always wants an outdoor durable product. Other products would be King Starboard or similar. Im not 100% but I believe they are Polyethylene...I may be incorrect as to the exact composition. Its marine grade.

Kala Mistral got high marks a couple years back.
  5. AGFA ANAPURNA M4F

Try programming your colors into the rip and avoiding the ICC for certain ones. Create spot colors on your files and then name & program certain values into them. See if that helps...I know in Caldera we have that option. If you're dealing with Images....then you need to put the time in and...
  6. Need Help printing on Magic inside mount perforated window film

A few years ago when we had the Eco Solv still....we printed on the gecko grip perf. It was like printing on a sheet of rubber cement in a way. Test it out....but should be fine. Maybe start at a slower Bi-Dir and higher head height if you are concerned. Otherwise when we printed those they...
  7. Setting up common / shared line cut file in Caldera for Summa?

You have to do it manually in illustrator for Caldera to make a common cut. One solution would be to extend the cut line within a PDF document...but in that case, the cut would be a separate segment for each document.

Happened to me a number of years back. Sorry to say, old man likely with Alzheimers got in the car and sideswiped a number of cars in traffic. 14. Question Vinyl material buckling

We have the same problems. Not related to just the cutter. Depends on the material as well....one hint is to run it over the outer front edge of the basket to allow it to flatten and tension some. Makes it a support in a way to keep the material running flatter. It'll hit the floor a bit but...
  15. 3M material recommendations

180 CV3 for the truck tank IJ39 High Tac for the Propane tanks or ij35 180 CV3 or 35...depending...for the panels. Depends on what the canopies are made out of. You can go anywhere between 35, 40 or 180
  16. Export as EPS or PDF ? whats the difference ?

When you go to PDF from Indesign and the file is a LOT smaller, have to be careful with compression in how you save the file. A lot of times you may hit screen res which would be bad. In most cases, save as the best res you can. I have a setting we use here at our shop when exporting...No...

  18. What material for Posted Signs

Not sure if the SIHL is outdoor rated. Maybe a 15oz or even an 18oz banner. You can straight trim those without issue...probably less expensive than the material you were talking about. Otherwise a 40pt styrene would work.

We have the same issue....just wear ear plugs and ear mufflers.
  20. Export as EPS or PDF ? whats the difference ?

We do EPS, PDF & tiff here. You're not saving much space if you do PDF. Flattening issues....color profiles...compression and low res within PDF conversions...just 3 issues off the top of my head if you're not careful. Saving as a COMPLETE PDF...no color conversion...no compression....its...
