70% - but of those, we have usually worked with them before.
25% So-So - usually because they ignore the specs but fix the issues when brought up...
5% is usually get fired because they relied too much on outside vendors or had no clue what they were doing... we last fired a client sign shop...
All we do is design and specifications, we send out bids all over the globe and have worded our documents so that only qualified sign shops should do the work... that is not always the case... there is not enough bandwidth on this site to explain half the horror stories but my favorite are when...
Your terminology might be incorrect... but in cases where you are making dimensional odd shapes - kerf cutting angle or extrusion might be the way to go...
Kerf cutting presentation
The vector Dr had a thread that explains this process but I couldn't find it so here is a link;
How can I open a PDF in illustrator and convert text with a missing font into outlines
look up "anti-theft" or theft resistant" fasteners... many are stainless steel and nice enough to be exposed keyed screws to only a person with the exact insert can remove the panel (also nearly guaranteeing you would be the one replacing the panel)
Those are brushed stainless steel posts with wood slats, I'm betting they routed a groove on the wood, slipping the panel into them and affixing the wood to the post holding it all in place... pretty easy to replicate... pretty cool idea.

1. Each sign and sign support structure...
Makes a lot of sense... all wood siding has a fire rating... whether it has the correct fire rating for the application is more of an issue with the company attaching it to the structure...
You are looking for templates... wouldn't call them engineering drawings, more like generic construction detail drawings.
There was a site for this guy but it looks like it's no longer available...
You can try him at his Facebook page: Signmanmatt
Did you design anything else? This can't be your only idea...
It actually looks computer generated to me because the script typeface is inconstant at the J and B - If it were hand lettered, it would flow better (see image)
Usually all caps script is a no-no... in my opinion, it look amateurish...
So it might help to get the terminology correct...
Looks like you need to make a "Monument Sign" or what most municipalities call, "Ground Sign"
First thing is look up what you are allowed to have - most sign codes will dictate the square footage based on the linear footage or acreage of the...
