I personally have never used Mac media but I have read some of the comments other poster made and many of them did not seem happy after using mac media for whatever reason.
Sounds like you had a good experience with them.
I also use digiprint and so far have been very happy using them.

Scott:
Thanks for helping clarify Roland position with support.
I was a little surprised when the Roland dealer service manager told me that because my printer is now considered a legacy printer they will no longer be able to provide repair services but I was really surprised when he told me...
I know someone who worked at a sign shop here in Florida who over the years also fixed just about everything you can fix on a Roland printer for his boss before he decided to contact a Roland Dealer a few hours away about becoming a tech.
When he showed up for the job interview they asked him...
I am thinking about trying Inkscape and after using CorelDraw for the past 15 years I was wondering what the learning curve with Inkscape was like.
This year has been crazy between Corel going to subscription based and Roland Printers making some printers legacy printer meaning they will no...
I have a few thousand images created using CorelDraw X-8 and they are all vectors and if is there another graphic program that I could use to open and edit and transfer these image into.
I use window 10 and have a Roland SP Printer.
I have not subscribed to the new CorelDraw monthly payment...
I just want to make sure I understand what's going on.
You said CorelDraw send you an update that you down loaded and now your version of X-8 no longer works. Is that part correct?
I have been using X-8 for over a year and I desided not to upgrade to their new monthly subcribtion service...
JoeDG:
I read each post and yes this disturbing to say the least.
Kind of surprised because dealing with them for me was easy and everything I received from them worked well with no problems.
I wonder if after the merger they will be better or worst? I guess only time will tell.
Jim
The last few times I ordered from DigiPrint I had to call to ask when the order was shipped and they told me they were waiting on one item that was not in stock.
I told them to just ship the rest of the order which they did but since I had already paid for the order I received a credit...
Well it's officially January 20th and I guess this the day that will change CorelDraw forever.
Version X-8 has been working just fine for me so I will stay with this until I retire which should be soon.
Jim
I have made the choice to stay with X-8 and not upgrade to the monthly subscription version.
It's my understanding I can do this and I will no longer get any new upgrades in the future.
Wondering if I should move X-8 to a off line computer and was just wondering what others are doing?
Thanks Jim
I have decided that after all these years of using CorelDraw I am NOT going to upgrade and I simply will stay with X-8 and while I will no longer get upgrades but for me X-8 works just fine and their customer service stinks anyway.
It's my understanding that since I own X-8 they will not leave...
I would also check the two springs under the magenta cap top and maybe even just replace them with new ones.
Somewhere between the magenta damper and the head you have a very small air leak that when you are printing for longer times is sucking air instead of ink.
This is when if becomes a task...
Someone told me that most of the major wide format printers are now locking their customers out of the Service Mode.
The service manager at the local Roland dealership told me that my SP-300V printer is now a legacy printer and they are no longer offering service for these printers and the...
Gabil: Do you know which Roland printers use the same main board as an SP-300?
I am still surprised that the Roland dealer won't sell the parts to someone who owns a legacy printer.
I believe that at some point the Roland dealers will only sell Roland parts to Roland Certified Techs only.
Just...
I also love the Roland SP-300 line of printers and they work like a charm most of the time.
Almost all of the parts are available from after market companies and I must admit I have had good luck with captops and dampers so far. Wipers are tricky because they are made just a little thicker then...
I was at a sign shop that also sells and services Roland Printers and the guy who is the manager of the service department told me that my SP-300 is considered a legacy printer which means Roland no longer makes the servo board or the mother board.
Because of this he told me they would not...
I understand that your printer is out of warranty and that is why you are considering using after market inks but it's my understanding from talking with my local Roland Dealer that if your printer needs a Roland Tech to come out and they find after market inks they will not service the printer...
Not sure we you have already replaced the two springs under each cap top.
They tend to stretch over time and don't apply the correct force.
One other question are you sure the hoses are connected to the correct side of the ink pump?
I made this mistake one time without realizing it and it...
