I tried calling Digiprint many times and it always goes to voice mail and no one as of today has returned my calls about a charge to my credit card for something I never received.
The reason I posted this on signs 101 was that I thought maybe I was the only one having problems with them.
I will...
Thanks, Fernando for your reply.
I called again yesterday and I had to leave another voice message and I am hoping someone responds and calls me back today.
Jim
I have used Digiprint Supplies in the past and since they moved to Sarasota, Fla. from the east coast each time I try and place an order for printer parts it seems like many items are back-ordered and not in stock which I think is due to the coronavirus shutdowns.
I just received my credit card...
It seems like I have seen this error message before but for the life of me, I forget what it means.
I just cleaned the encoder strips and put in a new encoder sensor because my prints were coming out blurry.
Thanks for your help. Jim
Harbor Freight also sells a brake bleeding tool that I have used when I got impatient with the tapered syringe.
I think it costs around $18.00 dollars but this will pull the ink through the lines but go easy when using it because it can also cause the dampers to suck the sides right in.
Jim
What is the name of the USA Brand that you offer?
My printer is considered a legacy printer and I always get a little nervous when I hear them talk about changing inks or locking people out of the service mode.
Thanks Jim
I have been reading about Roland wanting users to upgrade to their new line of inks and my question is are Eco Sol Max inks going away later this year?
I have an SP Printer that runs perfectly and I really do not want to upgrade and to be honest with you I would rather try aftermarket inks...
Today I went for the very first time to Fellers to pick up the Oracal 3640-G
My first surprise was that they only have an 800 number that rings in Tulsa, Ok. for all of their locations in the country.
I called first just to make sure the product had been shipped from Orlando to their Tampa...
Found the Oracal 4640-G in the 30" size at Fellers and they had a few rolls in stock.
I had not checked Fellers earlier because I thought no one used 30" for wraps. I guess I was wrong.
They also had the best price after checking about 6 supply houses.
Just thought I would let others know...
There are a number of problems to overcome when you own what they call a Legacy printer which is what you now have.
1. Roland considers these printers Legacy models because of their age. These were really great printers but Roland would rather sell you a brand new one instead of servicing these...
Running into problems purchasing Oracal 3640-G in 30" size.
I have contacted a few different supply houses and they do not have it.
I did not want to use the 3641-G because these images are installed on store windows.
I placed an order for a roll from Grimo and they thought they would have it...
Can someone tell be the difference between Oracal 3640-G and 3641-G
They are both 4 year life calendered vinyl.
I have used Oracal 3640-G in the 30" size for over ten years and now it is becoming harder to find so they tell me 3641-G in 30" in available instead.
They are telling me the...
Does Roland make their own cap tops?
It seems like they are almost $50.00 each now.
I have been using original Roland cap tops for years but I also have tried the aftermarket cap tops and had some that worked fine and others that did not last very long.
I would like to ask others what they are...
Not sure if this has been posted before.
Vector has sold out to KKR another private equity firm for One Billion dollars.
Vector paid 124 million when they purchased CorelDraw and they then spent another 30 million to take the company private.
Total investment $ 154 million and profit on...
After reading every post in this thread one thing sticks in my head and that is I do not want to do business with any company that does not stand behind their products.
I happen to like the early Roland printers better than many of the newer printers so when Roland decided to designate the...
I figured out the problem.
After rechecking everything on the printers I decided to try and print a different image to see if if it was something in the image that was the problem and that is exactly where the problem was. I removed the Roland magenta color line around the first image and...
I should have mentioned that I already completed the Limit Initialization and I also checked to make sure the blade was in the correct position and that was also fine.
I have not yet tried cleaning the encoder strip since it is printing perfectly.
The scanner motor and the encoder strip and the...
My Roland SP-300 is printing fine but today when it is time for the cutter to cut out each image with the Roland Magenta color it moves to the first image and just cuts though the image over and over until I hit the pause button.
I forgot how to fix this problem which I had years ago and I am...
I sometimes use a small paperclip that I straighten out and slowly slide it through each side of the Y fitting a few times just so you can see that there is no obstruction blocking the ink from flowing through it.
I once counted how many places there can be to check for an air leak in the...
