I know how much work is involved in shipping. When I purchased my printer I found it on Craigslist in PA. and had it shipped to the west coast of Florida.
The former owner shipped it in the original box, and it arrived just fine.
For me buying a used Roland SP-300V was a smart move...
I have an SP-300V that I would like to sell, and I was wondering the best place to advertise it.
I don't want to use E-Bay for sure.
Thanks for your help Jim
I keep a supply of dampers and cap tops in stock along with a lot of other parts so that when my printer needs one of these items I am not down for very long.
I find many of the things that go wrong with a Roland printer are easy to fix it you just stop and think about what the printer is doing...
Question have you tried parking the heads and then pulling ink from under the capping station with a tapered syringe?
When you connect the syringe pull very slowly and if there is resistance stop pulling. If this does not work you might need new heads,
Jim
Contact Solventinkjet at 303-733-6671 he sells a tampered syringe that fits into the bottom of the hoses under the cap tops just before the Y fitting where the two hoses come together.
This tampered syringe also fits into the bottom of the damper when you remove it so that you can pull ink into...
My SP-300 V has many times had the exact same test print yours has and each time I brought it back to life.
Having the proper tools needed to fix your printer makes this easy.
If you have already tried a few cleanings, a head soak overnight, New cap tops and dampers the next step is to try very...
I also have an SP-300V and these printers are a real work horse machines, but they do not like to sit without being used at least every few days which is about all I use mine.
Once they are not used on a daily or weekly basis all kinds of things start to happen, and then you really need to...
I always enjoyed using Content Exchange in Corel X 8, and then they removed it from X-8
It's interesting that content exchange is now included with Corel 2020
Just another move to milk every penny out of their customers until they sell out again to another private equity firm.
I had...

I thought the new owners of Corel the latest private equity firm announced that they were closing the Corel Forums down.
I have been using Coreldraw X-8 and I never upgraded to the latest version because I was happy with X-8 and I did not want to go to monthly subscription base.
I also...
I just checked my records.
When I purchased X-8 I paid for it, but it was then downloaded to for the installation, so I do not have the disks that used to come with the earlier versions of Coreldraw.
Jim
All of my versions of Coreldraw were all bought and paid for and that is why when I contacted Corel about upgrading to the paid subscription I decided to stay with the version I had.
They told me that since I owned the version of Coreldraw I could continue using it.
I also knew I would be...
I am using CorelDraw X-8 but now it appears the fills are no longer available.
Can I purchase fills and import them into X-8 ?
I did not upgrade to Coreldraw 2020 because I was very happy with the version I have now.
Thanks for your help.

I knew a Roland Tech who was very good at repairing Roland Printers and he was self-taught along with reading Signs 101 a lot.
Roland entered him in a worldwide competition for techs and he came in second in the world in the contest.
He told me he started off in a sign shop where the owners did...
I have used a Roland SP-300V for many years but I am interested in purchasing something different in the future.
Are Mimaki printers better than a Roland or about the same?
What are the pros and cons of owning a Mimaki printer?
I do all of the tech work for my Roland including changing heads...
I also have ink cartridges stacked up and I was wondering if anyone has had any success trying to get whatever ink is left in each cartridge.
Does anyone use up all the ink without some being left in each cartridge?
Please let me know if there is a way to remove the ink that is left.
