    we use oracal 3651 for a lot of different applications, i would think that would stick. if not all the major brands make hi-tac vinyls (oracal, avery & 3M) any of those would work

    thanks for the input. i just found it funny that for the applications it is recommended for you don't get the full warranty? made specifically to stick to brick, stucco and concrete. 7 year outdoor durable......but only 6 months on masonry products. (aren't all of those masonry products?)

    doing a partial wrap on a van to cover the windows. normally after i go over the windows i cut around the edges and squeegee all around so everything is tucked in. question is what if i don't make those cuts and just leave full vinyl over the window and van sides. will i be asking for failure...

    we use oracal(hhmm... sorry ...orafal) 3164 for temp signage and like Pat said let it out gas, 24 hrs is best but i have done it after a couple of hours and it was ok.

    regardless of the amount of money you made a sale instead of losing one and you where able to help the customer out of a jam so he will use you again. win/win (although the way you worked it out the profit was pretty good %)

    i just add extra for tolls and gas to my normal labor charge. i don't do a mileage charge. our shop is in jersey and sometimes i have to go to NY for jobs and a mileage charge doesn't cover the $20-25 worth of tolls so far i haven't lost any jobs because of that.

    may sound stupid but did you check all the cables. make sure they are connected properly or maybe one has gone bad. check your network hub if you have one. we had that happen once and that was bad.

    i have two customers that rent booms and lifts so we usually rent from them. it can cost anywhere from $350-600 for the day depending on where we are going and what kind of lift. we were just tossing around some thought on if it's worth it for us to get our own lift. probably not right now based...

    we don't push the business cards either mainly we print them for existing customers who need 100 or a low qty. if they want a polycarbonate card or something fancy on aluminum then we will do it in house but if they want a traditional card 500,1000 or more then we sub them out to Wes-Tex printing
