We use 3M IJ35c as well. Only problem is the laminate 3M recommends for it is complete crap. I think it's 8508/09. The stuff is **** yellow and ruins an otherwise great print on a great intermediate vinyl with air release. We lam it with Oracal 210 gloss or matte and it works great. No problems.
Good grief. I hate to think how long it would take to get yourself back online if you actually lost your data. There are much more efficient ways to back up large amounts of data than Carbonite or similar online resources. They are fine for the casual home user or even a business that deals in...
I have used Dataretrieval.com in the past. The last drive I sent was completely dead. No signs of life at all. They are located here in Houston, so that helped to speed up the process. Basically you send in your drive along with a list of the most important files extensions to retrieve and the...
Spray laminate?? That's crazy. Breathing that overspray? So much waste? I used one can of that stuff a long time ago and decided to keep hunting. ClearShield liquid lam comes in one gallon containers. We use foam paint rollers to lightly roll on a minimum of 2 coats. You have to do light coats...

We have used Clear Focus ClassicVue 50/50 with Clear Shield liquid laminate (rolled on in 2 coats) pretty much exclusively for a few years now. It's the most cost effective option I've found. It doesn't last forever, but we've had ZERO problems with vinyl failure, curling, etc. The print will...
About 10 years ago I had a job at a computer shop that was next door to a pool hall. Occasionally, me and some coworkers would go hang out at the pool hall after work and have a few beers. Turns out billiards wasn't really my thing, but there was another game in there calling my name... the Air...
:thankyou: Coloradosigns understands the show.
We don't remove everything to make our lives more difficult... we remove everything to make the install much easier, faster and smoother. We also remove everything to ensure fewer edges are exposed to the elements causing premature failure. We...
NEW UPDATE:
So, I ran into some other problems and had GSG come out and replace a head. He went through the printer and showed me some things to look for.
The VP540 has an encoder disk on the left end. It looks just like the encoder strip material, but it's in a disk shape. This is what...
