Camowraps out of Louisiana prints a lot of the licensed patterns. They will print on 180cv3 and lam if you call them and special order. I'll never buy that stuff from Fellers because they supply Camowraps with their own cheap material. Go to the source !
Sorry to hijack my own thread... I'm running prints on a friend's SP540i. Does this thing support RIPC? The profiles aren't installed with his Versaworks and his software is up to date.
Come to think of it, that's exactly what it looks like. I tried printing on some really crappy static cling material a couple of years ago and my prints looked just like this. Unfortunately, I ran these tests on some short scrap rolls of 180cv3 and ij35c. Same issue on different media.

Just a quick update for anyone who might have similar issues.
A thorough cleaning of the encoder strip did clear the problem up for a while. As it turns out, dust and overspray don't play well with electronic components. If you've never taken apart your printer, I suggest you give it a try. All...
We remove them every time except cargo vans that are pop riveted on. Pulling the handles and other obstacles allows for no exposed seams or cut lines. Takes a little extra time but its worth it.
