Yep, probably the cut carriage cable. I got by for awhile by moving the inside pinch roller in until the setup would register the media. Something to try until you get it replaced. John

ok, I have this cutter but I stink at explaining things, Anyway you need to go into production manager of Flexi and add your cutter. If it's already installed you can go in and change your settings for the cutter. Sounds like the port your using may be incorrect. BTW, That is one little...

oops yep the unmask option is what I meant. then you may have to ungroup to get the background. John

Depending on the file, sometimes you can right click on the design and ungroup everything. Then see if you can select the background and delete it. There can be multiple ones(layers) so delete until they are all gone if needed. John

Had the same problem. I got by awhile until I installed the cut carriage cable by moving the pinch rollers inward until I got a reading. I lost about an inch of material. I'd give it a shot it may work and you can keep printing until you get the new cable. John

If your talking about the actual folder on the computer, mine is in: program files(x86), corel, corelDRAW graphics suite X5, color, palettes, spot, roland. John

John is right, I usually clean the first foot or two of media I print each day. I always wash my hands before handling it as well. I've had a few prints ruined by contaminated fingers. For instance, do not eat a pack of Doritos and handle the media. Don't ask me how I know this, lol. John
