Having the "good better" in the background is distracting. Why not just keep it simple with straight text and get rid of the extra stuff? If you're planning to put this on decals and shirts, you want something clean, easy to read and easily reproduced at a small size.
But you still didn't listen to the seasoned vets here. You made some minor changes to your original monstrosity and balked at anyone that said the final design still isn't up to snuff. And it's not. Frankly, the designs that Rick put out there are more eye-catching than any of the options...
I'd create two single sided signs and have them sandwich the posts between.
I'm not sure the size you're looking at for these, but I'd suggest 1/4in Omegabond or DiBond and I second Gino. Find a router for this. Nice smooth edges and professional look compared to a jigsawed sign.
Have you tried setting it to print Centered on the Vinyl?
We've had issues in the past where there wasn't equal tension across the foil so we have to print extra rectangles to create that. Not sure if that could be the problem.
I run an original Edge and I'd be able to do the first print. It would just take a little bit of set up time and creating the file the right way. And having the experience with Composer to do so.
I was looking at it and again, I'm a spot color person, so I'd probably end up layering this to create the best possible look for the customer. But if that's not an option, yes, it can be done. The orange fill would need to be a B/W jpg (at least with composer because it can't do fills like...
I would set the files you have in the attachments to print on either colored vinyl, or to include overprints in order to ensure a nice print with no white edges.
Full Color = Process Printing.
The Edge allows you to print in both full color and spot colors. Personally I prefer to use spot...
I've been running an Edge for 10 years myself and I love the machine. It's a workhorse. Changing out foils only takes a few moments and the range of colors is awesome. Plus you can Spectratone (print colors on top of each other or on top of colored vinyls) to do color matches. Gerber Tone...
I'm sure we've all at some point, received an email from Ken Brown asking for either a couple thousands blank tees or a few hundred banners with religious messages on them. It's pretty clear they're scams because we've dealt with them and heard about them. I got a new an email the other day and...
It might not be the tape. It could be the paint on the wall. I do lettering for an art gallery and it took us awhile to find out exactly which vinyl to use on their walls. They were mainly using matte and eggshell finishes and oddly, higher grade vinyls weren't adhering.
Can I ask why...
It depends on the project. If it's a temp sign that's only gonna be up a year or two, print/lam and slap it on. If it's something that will be up for years, well, then I go for materials that are going to have that longevity. That doesn't always equate to painting, but it definitely isn't prints.
